What makes this extra brutal is the fact that urumis are cost effective against Jaguars. Aztecs have no units which are cost effective in melee against urumis, even as counter units.

@@14augustneverforget yes, which is why I said "in melee" In my original comment. The point is that you need to go ranged to handle urumis. Then viper would've to go his own skirms, BBC, and whatnot.

I called Urumi Swordsman with wootz steel being op at release, and I was surprised that they weren't abused in the way that other broken units were
They are ridiculous in that once they get Wootz Steel they hard counter all infantry and soft counter most cavalry... but the combo is so expensive it's almost impossible to get to at a higher level.

Yo relied too much on his monks and Viper wasn't making high value units, so the conversions are not that valuable. Yo should've made arbalests, not jaguars. Great game!
I think I'd prefer Dravidians over Aztecs any day.
Aztecs need a little bit of help in my opinion. Aztecs get no fully upgraded arbalesters, but Dravidians do. Aztec FU champions lose to Dravidian FU Champions (ignore 5 armor vs +4 attack). Dravidians get hand cannoneer as an anti-infantry unit, but Aztecs have to have their UU to fulfill that task. Dravidians get masonry and hoardings, Aztecs don't. Eagles are not enough to make the difference in all this, I think. It's unsurprising why they're a bottom 6 civ across the board
They should establish a more democratic state between the kings, talk more and divide the territories
