It's me again, with a new video for my favorite character. I was inspired after watching AnneSoshi's recent video about Jon Snow here: • Jon Snow | The Norther... . I wanted to do something similar and try to make a video explaining a theory I have about Clary's character. Although I guess it's less of a theory and more of a really cool wish, lol.
In case it didn't come across as clearly as I wanted it to, I think Clary has a deeper connection with the angels beyond just communicating with them and certain enhanced abilities. I feel like her place in the Shadow World is as an ACTUAL angel. I really like the idea of angels as distributing justice in the way they see fit, and I think Clary's character falls into this mold. She is often the judge, jury, and executioner and is the literal definition of using 'righteous fury'. I also think it's a cool play on angels being 'pure beings' - usually described to show how they are pure good, but I see it in the Shadow World as more of them being of lawful good. So that can result in terrible and powerful actions that are done in the sake of their own sense of justice. Anyway, it's just an interesting theory I have on Clary's place in the Shadow World. :) In the words of a tumblr post I saw just the other day: Shadowhunters ends with Clary becoming God or it doesn't end at all.

She is my favorite character for now almost 9.long years, and you making justice with these videos for her. I love her so much, and having such a deep connection with her character for now so long. And videos like this, i swear taking my breath away. You capturing emotions, feelings, so great. With the music you always chosen, and the scenes you chosen, not even mention the voiceovers. The feels are real!

This is put together so beautifully, I found it difficult at times to relate the character of clary in the tv show to the books but this has showing me the strong persona of clary’s character from the books that I obviously missed while watching the show. Thank you for this!!

That edit was just beautiful! I have to be honest, at first I didn't like her that much but from the second season on, she slowly but surely became- together with Alec and Magnus, one of my favorite characters! Again, beautiful edit!🙌🙌🙌

EDIT: After a second time watching this, your theory only makes more cinematic sense. And I don't just mean her direct wayline to the angels. Raziel calling her "angel-blooded one". Cleophas calling her blessed. "This is not the will of the angels." "It's MY will." Hell, even Jace throwing her off that building was emulative of an angel falling from grace. You've got it all right, girl!

I love Shadowhunters. It's been one of the most awesome show ever. It's number one on my list. Clary Fairchild is one of my favorite actresses as well as the other actors and actresses. The fact that she can shoot sunlight out of her hands to kill a demon is awesome. She was shown this particular rune to let do that by a powerful angel according to the show. Now that was also awesome. When Luke's sister helped Clary summon an angel to find out what happened to Jace after being brought back to life, these are the words she made Clary say to summon an angel: Ignus Aurum Probat, does anyone know according to the show what those words stood for? If you do, can anyone tell me?
