Good video sir but just the age factor isn’t the only factor that will govern the scope of doctors future i assume….for example paediatric, i feel people who are in reproductive age group are the ones who are flourishing and thus want the best of the best care for children, even in tyre 2 or 3 cities as u know how parents are! And you already said that as the people are going to age than this number of population, which is going to increase towards the geriatric age group so it’s a boon for all the doctors of geriatric medicine but also we can’t deny that the other the doctors of other specialities are also going to get involved so we cannot say that only the people of geriatric medicine are hundred percent going to get benefited rather, so the scope again dilutes here ! so here the overall benefit of choosing a field just on the age of population rather population shift factor, I think isn’t correct…other factors like resources availability to particular age group, increasing and changing spectra of various diseases is also crucial !

Geriatric medicine is a dead end. Residents are not happy with their branch and are reconsidering their choices as most positions are taken up by internal medicine doctors. Plus there is no superspeciality after md as of now. Neither is nmc planning for it. Any branch which is heavily dependant on technology will be naturally out paced by technology itself in due time ..
What made ràdiolgy booming now compared to 90 s is technology only ..
.So future advancement in the same technical field can mask the role of 80 percent of radiologists by 10 to 20 years from now
My assessment .. It is so vast and unpredictable .A simple scan of retina combined with a possible analysis of one drop of blood may make an AI software to reveal plenty of hidden conditions .Sorry if I am wrong ..

Rubbish information.I know of several urologist and neurosurgeons struggling .Ctvs is dead branch.Oncology is good.Orthopaedics and paediatric are downgraded branch.Radiology is great branch today and will remain so even after 50 years no matter whether AI comes.
