Hi, great video of everyone in your group! I notice most of you use the same old town camper or pathfinder model with it’s flat bottom and straight side shape . Is this because of how it performs? What’s makes you choose this type of canoe instead of others?
Thank you for your question. There are three big reasons for that. 1. Light and durable Royalex canoes are popular in Japan 2. There are few canoe manufacturers imported to Japan, and there are few choices. About 80% of the Royalex canoes in Japan are Old Town canoes or Mad River canoes. 3. And the decisive thing is the beautiful form of the canoe. The most popular canoes are the Old Town Camper, Pathfinder and Charles River.
