    I was diagnosed with Crohn's about 22 years ago. My Gastro told me to start smoking. No joke.. Had blockage in March. At that time I was desperately searching for answers. It's been a Godsend finding your material online. I think I just need you for a coach. Thanks for all you do.

    Hi Jeff! Congrats on all your health success. My friend just introduced me to your channel and it's great to hear your experience. I used to break out from eating fats, especially on my back, even after my water fast. However, I started doing sauna therapy and that helped me heal so much more and it eliminated my skin issues. Just wanted to share in case that resonates with you. Wishing you much continued success on your journey!

    After what you’ve learned through this experience of water fasting (and that you’ll do it a few more times ) will you do any more juice fast? Or did it make you not want to juice fast anymore and just stick to water fasting when the time(s) come?

    • @jeffjuices
      @jeffjuices  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Aly, I will probably never do another juice feast. Seems pointless now that I understand water fasting. I dont regret at all doing a bunch of juice feasting. It did help a ton.

    Im hoping to heal my crohns with a 21-30 day water fast.
    If I can heal myself 80% I’ll be happy with that, but there’s no way im going to try do what you’re doing.
    I’d rather live 70 years and enjoy a meal out with my family than live to 100 and not be able to enjoy myself.
    There has to be some kind of realistic balance. Im not suggesting that ever eating the standard American diet is good, but the healthiest countries with the longest life span enjoys their food. Japan with lots of fatty fish and fermented vegetables, Italy with extra virgin olive oil and fresh pasta.
    I’m hoping to live a healthy life eating a Mediterranean diet after my fast.

    Greetings, I understand your struggle to gain weight with Crohn’s. I was able to gain 25lbs in 2 months when this smoothie recipe (bananas, raw almond butter, raw almond milk, other fruit, vanilla extract and mushroom powder). I would also suggest that you add some spiritual components to your life (deep breathing, yoga, meditation, etc.). For years before being diagnosed with Crohn’s. I did juice cleansing, water fasting and a raw food diet. I did not consume the S.A.D American diet at least for the last 30 years of my life. I was plant based for 20 years. I believe that stress was a big contributing factor to being diagnosed with Crohn’s with fistulas. One thing is that I used to focus on cleaning my body so much that I might have gone to far. I’ve learned that everything in balance is the ideal approach for me.

    • @jeffjuices
      @jeffjuices  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi there TheNurturingWay. Thanks for the comment. I dont want to make my body gain weight fast by eating a bunch of unhealthy food like nut butters and powders. When my body has healed more, I will naturally just put on weight. This is the case for almost everyone who fasts correctly, long enough, and refeeds correctly and simply. I trust nature, and Im not trying to hack my way out of my terrible lifestyle choices prior to finding raw veganism. Thank you for your insight as well. I do meditate daily, and practice yoga very often. I live a very low stress life. My issues are internal structural damage due to eating skittles for breakfast lunch and dinner my whole life bahahahahhahah. And There is nothing wrong with focusing all my attention on healing if I dont feel perfect. This is pretty normal for anyone who doesn't feel great all the time. Balance would be cleaning out my body of poisons and toxins as fast as I possibly can so my body runs optimally. Sounds like your int a good place now so that's fantastic for you. I however have a lot more work to do. 🙂

      @@jeffjuices Jeff I appreciate your insight. Life is an inward journey so as long as my spirit is encapsulated in this physical form there will always be opportunities for me heal and awaken. I appreciate you responding to my comment. It’s about each one teach one! I welcome your insight. In my life I’ve learned not to be too dogmatic about anything. Life has it’s ebbs and flow so I tape into the rhythm to see what is best for me at any given time. From my experience and I have over 25 years taking various holistic approaches including maintaining a raw food life style for a long time, I just try not to make anything a religion. when I tune into the Universe the message that I receive is that I am whole, healed and complete. I just have to step into that vibration. Peace to you my dear and safe travels on your journey. We all come here with our own special instructions. Peace

    • @jeffjuices
      @jeffjuices  Před 2 lety +1

      yes. I've tried everything. Celery juice is very low on the totem pole of beneficial things that heal the body. it obviously has its place. but not near as much as mono fruit eating, fruit juice feasting, and of corse the best of the best, water only fasting

    isint coconut too much fat for detox? do you think to start only 100% with fruits?this could relly speed up your detox i know the real detox starts when you dont do greens and specially fat like avocado, also i know the coconut is a nono for detox is to much fat, not like avocado you can do sometime and i will not stop detox

    • @jeffjuices
      @jeffjuices  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Sebastian. Ive been doing this for 5 years. Ive spent years on fruit. You cant eat 100% fruit only forever. I will eat a simple diet, with fat, and do a yearly water fast. To me this is the optimal way to heal. Yes having too much fat in the diet will slow down your bodies ability to cleanse. But my body does require some fat in my diet, and 1 avocado a day a few days a wek, plus some coconut meat works great for most people.

  • @ThePallidor
    @ThePallidor Před 2 lety

    Pimples suggest some issues with fat metabolism. Chewing the avocados more may help.

      My digestion isn't strong enough to eat enough calories with 1 meal per day. I also dont think its the healthiest diet. Ideally 1 meal of fruit per day and 1 meal of salad in a 5 hour window will most likely what I strive for long term.
