- As I've said before, I'm no pro... But I learned a lot about her while pushing mini Amber to 900 trophies during her mastery push and have absolutely adored her since her release... so much so I've gotten her to gold II on my main pretty much by accident hahaha I never pushed her mastery on my main. That's just how much I play her. So, here's all of my tips and tricks for my favorite brawler: Amber.

@@Dilyn514 they're both great brawlers to have in ranked. Jessie especially dominates bronze through diamond. I pick her almost every game until I get to mythic to counter all the fangs and edgars you encounter every game haha

@@ella_ella_ella I'm planning on it. 😊 Haha that's so true though. Whenever I pick her, I get a lot of thumbs downs from randoms but back in the day, it took forever to unlock her on trophy road so when I finally unlocked her I played her for like 2 months straight, so I tend to prove them wrong about her by the end of the game

Amazing guide! Would enjoy playing with you in high trophy ladder (60k+)! Tried out the auto aim trick on ring of fire today and easily pushed her

I personally think the other gadget is better bc its good for close combat against assassins and tanks when they approach you
Like I said, if that concerns you, it's a good gadget. But I prefer the other one because it allows me to kick start map and area control early on in the game. But I do use dancing flames on open maps without a lot of grass and in aggro modes like brawl ball. They're both good, just situational. If you want to use Amber like a controller, though, fire starters is the best gadget. If you're using her control mechanics correctly, assassins and tanks will find it hard to get close enough to Amber to counter her in most cases because they won't have grass to camp out in and use to surprise attack you and your teammates

Haha I was thinking about that. I'd love to ❤️ I'd say she's one of my favorites but I'm waiting for them to nerf her out of the meta. If I still love her then, then I'll know she's one of my favorites hahaha I'm working on another brawler guide right now but I'll do her next since she's so useful in ranked 😊
On which maps should we use amber?
The short answer is any map with a lot of grass. Those kinds of maps will attract the brawlers she counters and she can make it really hard for them to complete the objective. Right now, a lot of the maps in rotation are very open without a lot of grass... You can still play her on those maps but as more of a damage dealer and area controller than a map controller.
But, right now the maps currently in rotation I'd recommend trying her out on are:
Hot Zone: ring of fire (this is her map haha fire is in the name 🔥) and open zone especially are great maps to push her on. She's also pretty decent on dueling beetles with her dancing flames gadget.
Gem Grab: double swoosh is definitely her best gem grab map. But also hard rock mine, undermine, flooded mine, and acute angle are all maps that she can help prevent spawn camping by burning grass and use her puddles for some good mid area control. She's okay on minecart madness, but I wouldn't say that's her best map because there isn't a lot of grass. And throwers can be annoying
Heist: she's fairly decent on bridge too far and burning the side grass can prevent Edgars and other mid to short range brawlers (Nita and Jessie for instance) from grass camping and surprise attacking your squishy sharpshooter teammates
Bounty (ranked): you could make her work but they're already pretty open so sharpshooters don't really need your grass burning help on those maps.... So might as well go with a more meta brawler like Nani, Leon or Belle.
Wipeout: infinite doom and snake prairie if you're going in with a sharpshooter comp. For this strategy to work you have to break the grass really early. For snake prairie, you can burn a fire starters gadget on one side and have your teammate play another grass destroyer sharpshooter like colt who can break the grass on the other side before the meta tanks and other grass dwellers can make it to your side and take you down. But you gotta go fast so using the grass speed gear can be helpful.
Brawl Ball: center stage, galaxy arena, retina, off the line, and she's pretty good in goalkeeper's dream as well with her dancing flames gadget.
Knockout: she can be helpful in Goldarm Gulch, Flaring Pheonix and Healthy Middle Ground. maybe Out in the Open... Although I haven't tried that one yet haha I think if you're passive and just burn all their grass, it'll help your sharpshooter teammates. The rest are a bit too open and long ranged for her.
Basket brawl: pretty much all these maps, but use her dancing flames gadget especially when there's a lot of walls.
Do you recommend to spam auto aim?
When it comes to Amber, auto-aim is often the best aim but there are some cases where you'll want to aim... Like checking grass, trying to find someone who's invisible or if one enemy in particular is especially dangerous. Sometimes autoaim will betray you haha but generally auto-aim is the best aim... At least for Amber

@@ceshadow oh I see what you mean. Yeah I hold it, but that's what I meant by "spamming auto-aim." Sometimes her biggest critics will say that all Amber does is "spam auto-aim" and that's why I phrased it like that. But primarily I hold it unless I need to aim. ❤️
did they nerf dancing flames ?
Yeah they did. She got nerfed twice last update, her basic was reduced to 420 a flame or 2200 DPS to 2100, and her dancing flames gadget was decreased from 1760 to 1680. It still rips through tanks and assassins though so it's still useful for self defense

What about solo showdown map
Haha sorry, I'm a 3v3 player. I never really play showdown. But I have taken her into maps that are relatively open like Double Trouble and Scorched Stone. Definitely take her dancing flames gadget because she does get countered by assassins.

@@SabarnoSen-wj6di The best F2P way is to grind mastery. Get all of your brawlers to Silver II. Aside from that, the brawl pass is the best source if you're willing to spend a little bit of money. Save all your gems that you get from the pass for deals in the shop. I noticed that the gems I'm getting from the pass are usually just the right amount for the gold deals in the shop... I'm pretty sure they did that on purpose.

I mean... If you have the gems I'd say she's worth it. She's so fun to play and strategically useful to have in ranked. I have played her on almost every map in ranked...and she carries randoms so well. Also, I did the same on my mini when there was a deal to get her in the shop... So in my highly prejudiced opinion, she was worth every gem. 😊
