Thank you so much Ana!! I'm pretty partial to the WOLF jewelry box (shown in this video). It's definitely an investment but it's high quality and protects the jewelry from tarnishing. I have some more budget friendly options as well - they should all be linked in the description! As for the qualities, it depends on how large your collection is.

@@LizzieinLace I create fine jewelry. In fact, I just had a piece I designed entered in a national competition. I came in the top 10. It was a gorgeous 14 Karat tanzanite set in 18 k white and yellow gold with a k of diamonds around it. I will share some of my stuff with you if you p.m. me. I love sharing!

It's definitely an investment! I do know that it was on major sale recently (I'll have to watch the price on this one to update). It's very high quality and it helps to keep jewelry from tarnishing. I have a lot of heirloom pieces and vintage jewelry so it's worth it. I think I linked a budget friendly option as well that is just as pretty :-)
I don't want to be rude but as a jeweler i would not call this a jewelry collection, it's more a mix of a lot of low quality pieces with some fine jewelry, the low quality pieces could be called bijouterie, costume jewelry or trinkets for example, but not jewelry as by definition a jewel is a piece made with noble materiales, ie gold, silver, rodium, precious stones or gems etc, not including imitation stones or gold/silver plate among other things, fine jewelry or more apropriately called simply 'jewelry' has nothing to do with those cheap trinkets people seem to mistake It for nowadays, again all due respect to you, if It makes you happy to collect this things then by all means do, don't let me tell you otherwise, it's just that i've seen enough people that 'collect jewelry' but the vast majority of what they have is not worth a penny (money wise not sentimental value i mean) and by definition it's not actually jewelry, maybe it's just me because i studied this subject that i see calling those low quality things jewelry like calling a child's drawing a painting, idk, there's a lot of creative and physical work behind each piece, the use of noble materials is not chance or for their rarity, It is so these works last an eternity and can be passed down generation to generation, have you ever seen gold and silver jewelry and coins recoverd from hundred years old sunken ships? amazingly, you can shine It a little bit and It looks like it was made yesterday, that's the objective, to me it's sad to see people buying a lot crap instead of saving to buy an actual artistic piece of jewelry made by an artisan (not saying this is your case), that or i'm just grumpy, i'm really sorry if any of this sounds like an attack to you, it's not my intention, i just think this should be known, at least between those of us passionate about this topic in particular
Hello and thank you for your comment! I can see that you are passionate about jewelry and I can appreciate that. I also appreciate your opinion but it's just that. An opinion. I'm not sure where this is coming from exactly because as far as I know, I did not mention the materials that each piece was made of nor did I share price points or every single piece (or the brand of the piece) from my collection, and yes it is a collection. Some are included in the description if you'd like to see for yourself but most are no longer available or are vintage. MANY of the pieces in my jewelry box are of high quality materials including gemstones (diamond, morganite, aquamarine, pearl, etc) and metals (gold, white gold, rose gold and silver). I know this because I have worked with reputable jewelers personally to get some of these pieces and the aquamarine, morganite and diamond items specifically are all extremely high quality (because yes, we also have a friend that is a jeweler - in fact, my diamond was purchased directly from her collection). I have a mix of fine jewelry and costume jewelry but nearly all of it is high quality. Many of the costume jewelry that you are deeming as low quality are actually vintage items that I have sourced myself, gifts from my husband or mom or very special pieces passed down from my great grandmother (who was an antique collector and KNOWS her jewelry), which is a bit insulting. And I would like to add that I have many pieces that are handmade by artisans from different parts of the world. I understand that costume jewelry does not have the best reputation and that it's not as high quality as fine jewelry but at least I can appreciate the design and beauty of it. As for "cheap trinkets," almost all of my budget jewelry is outside of my jewelry box on the stands, etc (aside from watches). Even though these pieces are much more affordable than the others I have, I still think the quality is decent for the price. And MANY of these are from brands that I have worked with over the last six years so that's a bit insulting to their brand. I completely understand where you are going with your comment and I don't hold it against you in any way but unless you see my jewelry in person, then you have no idea. You look at it and think that it's fake and gaudy when it's actually real and very sentimental to me. I also want to point out that not everyone can afford to have a beautiful collection filled with the types of museum quality pieces that you are talking about. I consider myself lucky to have the pieces that I have and although I know I have a lot of jewelry rather than just a few nice, key pieces, it's because I LOVE jewelry and this is my job. I'm a fashion blogger and this is what I do for a living. So having a variety of pieces in my collection that can fit all budgets is important to me. I'm very mindful that we are all in different financial situations and I do not want to exclude anyone from feeling like they can attain a beautiful piece of jewelry (because I have been there). So no, I did not feel the need to include the specifics of each piece because I didn't want to make anyone feel bad about themselves. But let's make something clear - none of these are Claire's quality. These items are not going to turn your skin green and only last for a week. All of the "cheap jewelry" you're referring to starts at $50 a piece. So although I include items that are affordable, they are still decent quality. And I should know because I've had many of these for years and they've lasted many wears (plus I have a nickel allergy and have not had ANY reactions). And all brands that I work with are heavily vetted to ensure that everything is high quality and in alignment with my own brand and what my community likes because the last thing that I would want is for one of my hundreds of thousands of readers/followers/subscribers to be unhappy with something that I recommended. So although you see a collection full of crap jewelry, I see a beautiful collection that encompasses not only my familial heritage and unique sense of style but also reminds me how far I have come in my journey to get to where I am in my business... and let me tell you that it has not been an easy journey in the slightest. You are only looking at the surface and judging me because I don't have the jewelry that you deem as beautiful and valuable when in reality, that is for each of us to decide. I know that you may not agree but until you see my collection, you have no idea and although I respect your opinion, I respect mine even more. Thank you!
