Cassino, the plant that builds Alfa Romeo's new-generation models
Constructed in 1972 near the historic Benedictine abbey, the FCA plant at Cassino (Frosinone, Italy) has so far produced more than 7.3 million cars and has now expanded to two million square metres, with buildings of 530 thousand. The plant has a production capacity of approximately 1,000 cars a day and employs around 4,300 people. Renovated for the production launch of the Alfa Romeo Giulia, the plant is a shining example of FCA's global automotive manufacturing expertise, where people, technologies and the environment combine in harmony to build two premium cars of immense prestige: the Alfa Romeo Giulia and the Alfa Romeo Stelvio. It has adopted and aligned all the technologies and best practices of the other FCA plants worldwide, updating them to build unique products, with state-of-the-art engines, perfect weight distribution, unique engineering solutions and an outstanding weight-to-power ratio.

My favorite brand in the world. The 159TI I had was brilliant- reliable, beautiful and comfortable. Now I have a Giulia - I love it, and also a Giulietta which is a great commuter.
I have the 2018 Stelvio TI in green with 20" rims and the HK sound system and it is BRILLIANT. Dream car.

After three years of ownership, I'm sold on the brand. It has nearly 60,000 miles and no issues so far. We also have a Nissan Maxima, I thought it was a great driving car, but honestly compared to the Giulia, it's a heavy brick!
On my second Guilia. Best combination of chassis, suspension, handling, braking I've ever driven in 40 years of German sports cars. Bella!

Underrated car
Fantastico! However my new Alfa Giulia TI had to be returned to Dealership here in Las Vegas, because the passenger mirror was made for ITALY only, not USA driving. It was replaced with correct mirror now works as designed for USA. Absolutely impressed with Giulia TI and the response from Alfa Romeo.

Grande marchio e grande storia... bisogna comperare italiano , non abbiamo niente da imparare dai Tedeschi.
Una Alfa Romeo da sogno sicuramente, ma non siamo realisti, alfa ancora un passo indietro con le tecnologie e qualità di plastiche interne, ed è la più cara sul mercato tra le sue rivali.
Perché la cosa importante in un Alfa Romeo è proprio la plastica...!
Roberto Bianco io lavoro nel mercato delle auto in Europa alfa ancora indietro contro la competizione, anche le portiere posteriori sn un po' cheap quando chiudi la portiera nn ti sa da auto che vale più di 30mila euro è ribadisco le plastiche e tecnologia indietro ma come meccanica nn ha rivali. Su BMW con prezzi simili e simili performance hai molta più technologies a disposizione e senso di lusso all'interno del veicolo.
sono d'accordo e' una grande auto mi e' piaciuta tantissimo la Stelvio ma chiudendo le portiere mi ha fatto un po senso quella leggerezza forse dovuta all'alluminio!!!
Ancora con questa cazzata delle portiere.....la solidità e l insonorizzazione la fanno i materiali impiegati e non la sensazione della chiusura!!!! Ormai in gemania fanno le prove di chiusura portiera per accontentare i baccaloni italiani

You have right, a few people know that, remaining in Fiat/Alfa (multijet and multiair) are genial patent made by Italian engineers and some of that are used like technology also from german cars. Italy has only one problem, the actual politician are not able to grow up the most fantastic and creative nation in europe, many italian factory prefere to close and open business outside Italy to pay less taxes and continue to work. Despite this and in this condition Giulia was born. Italy is a great country.
you're right on that. however, what I've observed is how lazy and visionless some people are. too much obsessed with their leisure time, not taking care of self-development, thus the bureaucratic system puts a huge barrier for Italy to fulfill its actual potential, just like Turchia.

I had a whispering sound of wind coming into my Mercedes CLA. Not to say that Alfas are known for their quality assurance. But the Giulia and Stelvio seem to be on the level of their German counterparts. And I know from firsthand experience that doesn't mean they're flawless.
