Enjoyed the vid 👍. Well done Laudits and Co. I love my football team and although we're no longer in the Prem Division (no V.A.R!! now), I'm hoping that a 2 year stint in tier two will enable us to build on a new squad and maximise the potential that is coming in. Wilder's doing a great job IMO. PS. The construction work you mentioned ( next to SUFC), that could well be the hotel they're having built, they have invested in (as I understand it) a new hotel along with new infrastructure at the Lane. Prince Abdullah is keen to sell, but to retain a small percentage in the club, again as I understand it, and we are currently in the process of an American consortium takeover (Silicone Valley based), which is pleasing to hear, although they have hit a problem from their end 😲. Hopefully, this will get sorted soon as it is having an impact on signings at the moment. Cheers for the vid 👍
The Derek Dooley Statue is of a man with one leg. He broke his leg playing football, got gangrine or something, and they chopped his leg off! Lovely chap. You never know who you are making fun of, eh?
Fun fact:::: Over here in Belfast we have a football supporters club called the Blades. It was started as a Sheffield United supporters club, i attend it on occasion, have done for 30 odd years maybe longer, and have never met a Sheffield United fan who goes there. Most football followers over here, will be mostly Man Utd or Liverpool supporters, but obviously some will follow other top teams.
@@Laudits Indeed you do, actual Welsh speakers there too. I'm a Leeds supporter myself, have been since my first memory of them, in 1973, I was 6. They lost in the FA Cup final that year to Sunderland. Never put me off them though. Then when I joined the Army when I was 16, I was fortunate enough to get to Elland Road quite a few times. Especially when I got stationed in Catterick North Yorkshire, so wasn't too far to travel. I still fly over occasionally to Leeds for a game, but it's more difficult trying to a ticket and obviously the costs involved. Love stadium drone videos, always interesting. Good stuff.
@@stuartbrown8259 I’ll be doing Elland Road at some point, so hopefully you see that. Never attended a game, but have heard one of the stands can be intimidating for away team goalies with that noise behind them. Thanks for your service & kind words 🙌🏼⚽️
Our owner is called prince abdullah, the name of the guy you read out he’s our chairman they aren’t necessarily owners but really enjoyable video, I think we’re gonna keep the premier league things up to show other clubs what can be achieved with the togetherness Sheffield Utd have. But enjoyed watching this UTB 🔴⚪️⚔️ (yes I’m obviously a Sheffield Utd fan)
Ah just checked - another Saudi backed club. Very interesting - thanks for that! Thanks for the positive words too & best of luck with next season mate. Great club!
@@Laudits yeah but as we speak we are in middle of a US consurtium takeover so hopefully new owners by start of season and thank you mate hopefully we will back up

He looks like Ron Burgundy - how’s that offensive?
@@Laudits It's not offensive.
@@anacarlaborralhogouveia9050 Thank you - it was just an observation. Ron Burgundy is a legend anyway, so the intention was complimentary 😁
The hotel is sheffield united
The lighting rig you saw in the car park are grow lights and are wheeled onto the pitch to help the grass grow
@@jayray1981 FINALLY! You absolute legend - I have an answer. Thank you! Will mention you in the next video!

That’s interesting - kind of like when you find Welsh supporters in Patagonia!

@@Laudits A very noisy tight stadium on a match day, really brilliant atmosphere. Saw your poll the other day, you can guess what I voted 😂😂😂😂
