It's pretty understandable that people dislike rerolling. But that's what an option and opinion is. Rerolling doesn't make you "less genuine" or "making it unenjoyable" and stuff. If you like rerolling then go ahead. If you dislike by all mean. Till this day I still playing with my day 1 rerolling Diluc account with Wolf's Gravestone never unequip. It might take a few or a lot of tries depending on your luck as well as mental strength. But everything is up to you. It's your account and you are the one who shape it. Go for reroll if you like it. If you don't hey it's probably better for your time as well.

rerolling seems kinda irrelevant with how generous the game is (and likely will be moving forward): you will have at least one standard you want due to the selector and there are no limited 4* yet AFAIK, so it's whatever. If you really want to suffer through the process for the limited character, sure, but for standard stuff it's definitely not worth it.
Seriously, new gacha games should put a reroll retry option for the first free 10 roll like in other gacha games I play so people will not have to reset/create an acc.

No one has mentioned this but everyone keeps talking about rerolling on the standard banner but what I plan to do is rerolling for Jiyan in the first 10 pull since we already have a 5 star character selector anyways that way I can start the game with jiyan and are able to save every Pull for yinlin its like getting the 1st limited character for free

As someone who rerolled Genshin for Venti when it first released. I have one thing to say. Don't torture yourself. Limited Chars are fuckin hard to get

This is literally me. My 1st account got Encore, 2nd got Jianxin(Idk if the name's right, the yin-yang monk), the 3rd, which is my main email account for games got Verina. I'm dropping the one with Encore.
Get Verina in the begginer banner and wait for the limited banner in patch 1.1. Most of the 4star in this game were great with multiple copies of them.
I wasted so much time rerolling for Genshin and guess what? Within a week of playing I never used the 5* I initially got because more characters came out

I remember I spent hours rerolling with my friends when Genshin first came out. One time I pulled an all nighter and went to bed at 9 am after a rerolling session just to get a Mona or a Diluc account, to no avail. Considering how relevant these characters are right now I cringe. Never doing it again. I'm gonna play whoever I roll and move on to new limited characters as time moves on. Good luck to anyone rerolling though!

If there wasn't a selector, I might have considered it, but I know I can just pick the character I really want, and then whoever else it gives me is fine

It depends on how many primos we are guaranteed right after unlocking wishing. I am going to try to re-roll until I fail 50/50 on character banner so I can guarantee a character I want later on.

Just gonna go with what i get.
My 1st 5 star in genshin was Qiqi and dont reroll just keep playing and get Kadzuha form event baner, now i have all standart banner characters and didnt use any of em, but i use Kadzuha in every spyral abbys. So no matter what you get from standard strongest characters you get from event banner!
For me this kill idea of reroling in this kind of games.
I really don’t want to reroll but if I get anything other from calcharo or verina, I literally have to since I’m pairing them up with Yin Lin. Hopefully danjin comes home too 🎉

What makes you so confident that salting doesn't work? I've created multiple accounts with salting for pre registration and echo event, they all have unique id's so why wouldn't it work with game client? Because it didn't work in PGR?

Some people enjoy a challenge, and the reward from hard work. Yes, it's fleeting because whatever we "win" will be power crept, but isn't that true for every human achievement? So, let's not criticize others for enjoying what they enjoy, as long as it isn't hurting anyone else or themselves.

Don't reroll at all. You'll be able to select a 5 star after a few pulls.
By the time you get there, we will know which 5 star is the best.
we already know who is the best, its Calcharo, best at destroying bosses.
@hayatojin2886 but he's only the best single target dps (and he loses that spot if u look at 4 stars). that could also change at release or within a few weeks when we get more limited dps units. also verina is considered better bc strong buffers/healers don't get powercrept into oblivion as quickly as dps and she has more versatility as a healer and buffer. we also really don't know how much of calcharo's kit got changed or rebalanced for release, besides getting his s2 at s0.

It doesn't end on just one 5*. You can reroll to get two, or Jiyan.

Why do content creators have to have this extra large CC text on the screen. If I needed or wanted the closed captions I could just turn it on.

not worth it :p you're wasting hours to do so when rerolling will take around 45 minutes, 0.8% to get a 5 star. besides, best thing to do is get your account up and running, stick with it, and unlock your daily stamina so you can get ahead in exp compared to others who decide to reroll

After rerolling in Genshin 700+ times to get Diluc at the start of the game im never doing that again and it was really easy at the start of genshin u didnt even need an email and it still killed me :/
And no, I didn't get Diluc in the end... I went with a Keqing and got Diluc 2 years later on a Hu Tao Rerun X_X

My first and only account in Genshin got me a Jean in 20 pulls. Didn't know it was rare.
Honkai star rail I rerolled 3-4 times and got 3 standard heroes and 1 weapon in 36 pulls in my now main account.
I gonna try to reroll in WuWa to get early 5 star, cause it will give me a head start in getting all next standard characters.
you will be so far behind on exp, not worth it :p it will take hours to reroll and its only 0.8% chance for a 5 star, by that time, ppl who dont reroll will have been doing their daily stamina and gotten way more exp than you
@@xlightninghawk6360 are you joking? One day stamina is nothing after even few months of playing. And this is not MMO to compete with EXP, like in Genshin whales hit AR60 almost a year before me, who never refilled, but then what? Nothing.
Not to mention I have language classes and full time job, so anyway I cannot grind all the time.
So for me it's much better option to get early 5star and have 40+ more pity to next one compared to players with more EXP)))

Can someone explain to me what the purpose of rolling for characters is? Like are you trying to get stronger characters, do they unlock new content, or is it just like adding to your collection, kinda thing?
So you can get characters and weapons. There will be a few free 4* characters but it’s better to roll for more characters. That why you can get more weapons and stronger characters which make stronger teams.

rerolling in wuwa seems like waste. best is to just make an account, unlock the stamina and get that rolling so you can have more exp than others who decide to reroll. since you get like 2 5 stars rather early. if your account is unlucky, eventually that will even out and you will get lucky. on my genshin account and star rail account, i was super lucky early on, but that luck changed to average and sometimes bad luck. just make an account, play and go with the flow of the game instead of burning yourself out on rerolling
