  • I just hit 1000 subscribers. I almost lost my channel due to copyright claims and strikes. Don't do that. I react to some random videos from the internet.

I AM NOT DONE WITH MUSIC REACTIONS!! I'm just giving it a few days to figure out a better way to do them.

We need a smart person who knows how to make browser extensions or change the way CZcams reactions work, The Idea is when you play a video and react to it, the video is hard coded into your video, but what if instead of that you react to a video and an app or extension syncs up to the time stamps that you pause the video to, so the person watching your video is actually watching 2 videos at the same time, yours and the artists video in a smaller browser frame. If this was a possibility, it would instantly solve all the copyright issues and also force the audience to watch the video from the artist on their own. It may be too complicated because of video lag and ads or whatever, but just an idea.

These music companies are so short sighted. Band like Lovebites, Band-Maid, and Nemophila became popular through people reacting to their music; especially in the US. Nobody in the US knows who these bands are because the money-making-music-destroying record companies in the US don't want the foreign competition, so good luck being played on major radio. Their popularity in the US is all from word of mouth. Also, copyright claims on reaction videos do not make business sense either. Companies spend a lot of money trying to market these bands and their marketing efforts generally fall on def ears. Yet these reaction channels can introduce bands to thousands of people across the globe on a daily basis at no cost the record company. This is free marketing to a target audience and CZcams pays the bill through their own advertising dollars. The only thing these companies might lose is a little CZcams revenue since people are watching their videos on someone else's channel, but a lot of people watching reaction videos would have never stumbled across the original video in the first place. Not to mention, most people will go and watch the original music video and subscribe to the bands channel after watching a reaction video. So, reactors are spending their own time and effort putting reaction videos together that in turn funnel a lot of people to the original artist and all they get for it is their channel destroyed? I would gladly pay any reactor $10 for every thousand people they market my business to.
