No she figured out the guy she cheated with doesn’t want to take care of her and her kids is more likely. That’s usually the revelation. Also that the grass is always greener. She probably found the best she could get and he was a literal good guy. Did everything to please her. She won’t get that again and she knows it but that’s life.

She didn't want him working extra hours because it would show that she had a spending problem when he started to question where his extra money was going.

The perfect example of what happens when the woman is the 'bread winner'. They no longer see their husbands as 'desired', no matter the situations around the relationship. The role reversal isn't feasible as women aren't even thinking of themselves as a 'provider' for a family. Once he is seen as no longer being the 'provider', she has already left the relationship. It's just a matter of time before she'll leave.
    * That 'get on with your life' may as well be telling all those fathers 'forget about your kids and pretend they don't exist'. I'm pretty sure you could check with all those fathers who lost custody of their children, and they would tell you it's not the wife they miss, but their children. That's what really rips apart most men in that situation.

Most men are good people. I told my mother the same thing awhile ago, "The most important decision you'll ever make in your life is choosing the correct wife." Stop saying partner guys. Your gf/wife is absolutely NOT your partner. Partner and Wife have specific definitions. You want partners for your business and making money and you want a wife for your personal life. Period.

I understood what was going on but if I left, I lost my kids, half my money. I acted happy all the time. Playing with the kids, cooking dinner, taking them to activities, she kept egging me on, wanting to fight. I always laughed, said your right honey, you’re so smart. I am a really bad person. I never fell into the trap. Eventually she went mad. Got locked up for a week in a mental institution. Came back and I kept up my plan. She got so upset she left. That was my moment. Got a protection order. I raised my four young kids on my own. They are beautiful adults. She ignored them for around 15 years. But I won. I got custody, I even got 80$ a month child support.

We all know what infidelity is, we all know what physical abuse is, but all of us have different definitions about what emotional abuse is so there’s no objectivity in it, which makes it moot.

this story right here is why the only time I ever told someone that I thought they should break up is when it was such a toxic relationship that there was a very real risk of someone losing their lives. Every other time, I always encouraged them to fix their marriage, and I was usually the only person on that side of the fence.

This is my EXACT story. We only had two kids but every other detail is exactly right.
Where our stories break is I met my soon to be new wife a few months after my ex kicked me to the curb. My new wife refused to let the ex back into my life. She saw this exact scene playing out. My ex using me for everything but never giving me anything.
I found my perfect woman because the horribly abusive one, after 26 years, couldn't justify being with me anymore. She was finally too good for me.
Thank God;I just wasn't good enough to be abused another day!!!!
