Love ftos, back in the day when everyone was into Civic, Celica, eclipse, I was the only one in my hood in love with this little guy. Today's reviews always complaint about "lack of power", well 6a12's specs are almost identical to fa20's and cars weight are almost the same... But then again people complaint about lack of power in those BRZ/gt86... Well they may not be quick but certainly they're *fast* FTOs like Integras or today mx-5s or BRZs are track machines, not dragsters. Plus 6a12 is one of the best sounding V6 ever.
The auto comes with a Manual up/down gear switch mode. You can use that to over rev it plus the auto computer actually learns if you’re a goon and doesn’t shift you up before you’re ready
The car is old, sporty, and expensive to maintain, requires a lot of time and attention and understanding. But all this pays off with the emotions of owning this car.

This car looks SO good, and is SO under-rated, I wonder why the tuner market has not picked up on it yet
Not a lot of ppl know about it also being FWD to some ppl is a turn off too
If it were a real wheel drive then it would be legendary
because only just now has the face lifted version been available to the usa to import it will probably pick up in price soon
Because it’s a slow v6 that’s fwd, same as why 7th gen celica or rx8 and Tiburons never picked up. They all very budget sport cars

Yes, that's right, I switched from a manual box to an automatic one, the dashboard left my own.
