We suggest using Frog Tape or a painter's tape for delicate surfaces.

Today, I went to buy Amy Howard paint at my local Ace hardware, and was approached by an employee from the paint dept. He proceeded to try to talk me out of buying this chalk paint saying this was too expensive, and went on and on about how he knows how to paint furniture and this is not how to do it. He recommended buying a regular paint, clean, and strip the furniture first, sand it, paint it and seal it with another product. If I had not known the truth about this paint, how easy it was to use, and how beautiful it turns out I might have been discouraged and listened to him. He was very insistent about not buying this product. II finally got him to leave me alone. While choosing my colors, I also noticed they had turned off the video that they have with the display, explaining the products. I think this is something you at Ace need to be aware of.

Hi Trisha Ann, thank you so much for your message. Let us know your Ace location in this message and we'll address the issue. The Amy Howard paint is great! You are right, it saves you the sanding, priming and stripping like regular paint requires. We have many tutorials on our CZcams page and Amy Howard has even more on her page. We can't wait to see what you create!

yeah this is not a good look. It looks cheap and dirty. but then it would hide dirt better maybe.

This product may or may not be any good, but this demonstration would cause any right thinking DIYer to turn and run away fast! She took a tired old stained cabinet door and turned it into a cabinet door that looks like your 1st grader colored on it! Not an improvement!
