In this video, I travel in Doha, Qatar.  During my 20 hours, layovers I booked the Discover Qatar transit tour by Qatar Airways.
During the tour, our guide showed us all the main attractions of Doha like the Doha Port, Katara and the Souq Waqif market. This video also talks about the history of the Doha and has beautiful views of the city.
We also got to see the stadium 974, which soon is going to be dismantled and donated to some other country.

Hey! My flights were via Qatar Airways so I am not sure about other airlines. But a quick google search shows me that it has to be via Qatar airways. I am not sure though.

hi, do we need to pay for visa on arrival if we book city tour from discover qatar from their airport counter & did you book from qatar airways stopover?
Hey! There is no fee for visa on arrival. You can book(buy) the tour from airport counter as well. I booked a flight with layover. Did not specifically book the stopover flight. Additionally, to get the visa on arrival, you need a passport thats valid for 6 more months, a hotel booking for the night of layover, and return flight ticket. This information is specific for an Indian passport.

Did you book a stopover package or discover qatar hotel? From what I see on their website you need minimum 2 nights of stay booked. Did they accept just one night of stay for the visa process?
Also, did you travel before Nov 2023 or after?
I booked the stopover package. My layover was only for one day so I booked for a day only. I had an early morning flight the next day. I had the booking done before Nov 2023 but the date of travel was after it.

Yes! You can even book from the airport’s Discover Doha desk. But they run out of spots sometimes.

Hey! No the visa is on arrival for Indians. But you need to show a valid passport, return ticket and hotel booking for the night through Discover Qatar.
Did you book hotel for 2 nights as minimum requirements or only one night booking?
Depends on how many days you plan to stay in Qatar. So you need to show your passport and return ticket. My return ticket was for the next morning so I only had to show for one day.
@@delhigirlabroad I have layover time of 15 hours so I will book hotel for 1 day. Is it possible to book hotel for one day only and from which website you booked ? Did you transit with Hayya card or did your transit through hotel booking in advance ?
Yes one day should be good. I guess Hayya card was for FIFA world cup only. So hotel booking should be good. They recommend booking via Discover Qatar. But I have seen cases where they have accepted via other websites too. But I got it from Discover Qatar to be sure.
@@delhigirlabroad as I am from Pakistan and currently in china , on discover Qatar website there are 2 options for hotel booking . One is stop over and other is hotel for hayya and visa on arival . Booking on stopover hotels are cheap and can be booked for one day but for visal on arival the 2 nights are minimum requirements to book the flight so can you tell me what option did you select and what was your duration of your hotel and cost ? I have to book hotel today so please explain your process here . I will be thankful to you

For Indians you need to have a hotel booking for the night. You need to show hotel booking, passport valid for 6 more months and return flight ticket. This will get you visa on arrival.

Hello, If my layover is of 20 hrs do i need a hotel booking? and is it necessary to take the "Discover Qatar tour". Since i have a friend in Qatar and just wanna meet them. Can we just get a transit visa without tour and get an uber? or is that not possible
Hey! Yes you can take uber instead of the Discover Doha tour. But you need to have a hotel booking.

As far as I know you need to have a hotel booking to get it.
For 3hours tours you don't need any hotel bookings. Discover Qatar desk you can buy around 115QAR and they will help you in immigration also.

Sure! You need a passport valid for 6 more months, a ticket for the onwards flight from Doha, and a hotel booking for the days you will be in Doha. You can check their website for more.
