I understand why they look dirty. I bought a new pair of white sneakers and they were too bright and it bothered me and really stuck out.💟
I agree about the chain of customers. once it gets to people who don't really know brands other than Louis Vuitton and Gucci, then it's kind of sad because you don't have to think about investing in something that has some individuality to it anymore. I hope GG doesn't get too popular and overdone though.
Can someone explain the quality of the shoe? I’m genuinely curious cause although I would like to own a pair - the idea of the glue being exposed on multiple parts of the shoe doesn’t seem very quality to me 😅

I love my one pair I own it took me a while to brake them in but once u do they fit super comfy. No I wouldn’t invest in a second pair. TFS!

I love a classic white shoes and golden goose does that for me
It has been on Italian market for a long time. I got my first pair almost 10 years ago.

WORTH the hype. So unique and COOL these shoes are. They are not overwhelming like Yeezy and stuff like that. They are more of quiet luxury “if you know, YOU KNOW” the shoe brand lol. My mom just got me a pair and they are skooo cute. She has quite a few and they last for a WHILE. SUCH good quality. However, obviously don’t bring it to walk a lot when they are knew as h th ey are very stiff at the beginning but I just have to break them in as I wear it to be clnfy

You can get them at factory outlets for cheap. I bought a pair for $340 and list was $550

I bought pure star and I’m glad I discovered the prada sneakers were damaged early on so I returned them I will never buy sneakers exceeding $500 again.
Buying clothes or shoes that don't fit is clearly a sign of a label chaser. Trust me I've been there.

yes I went in its a pretty store but I don't like to buy at places that do exchanges only I rather buy from vendors like nm, net a porter, nordstrom

I honestly can’t see myself purchasing sneakers that look dirty and worn out. Nothing like that crisp fresh out the box kicks. I don’t care if they are trendy or not it’ll bother me. I’ll stick to Nike air max any day.

I wanted them because they fit my personality, I didn’t know they were a “trendy” type thing until I went to the rich side of town and saw yuppies wearing them. Once I got a pair anyway I kind of realized they’re not that comfortable. One good thing about them tho is that they’re great shoes for skateboarding

I usually wear a 6.5 and I wear a 37 which is equivalent to a 7. I dont like my toes to touch the front when I walk. If I feel they are too loose i put in a thin leather insert. Most says size up the half size but some people like them really tight so depends on who you are. If you live near a Nordstrom go try them on at the store.

definitely get Golden Goose. less tacky and more modern. Golden Goose is much trendier while YSL and Burberry are older and more classic. I have 2 pairs of Golden Goose and ADORE them

Not worth it at all. Bought them around the same time you did and still have them. Have worn them about eight times in the past three years. Super uncomfortable and weird. Looking on my feet. Wish I would’ve bought the Gucci pair instead.

Golden Goose has been popular for nearly 13 years now, it’s just wannabes catching the trend now and jumping on the fashion train, you pay for quality goods because they are hand made like most quality things to come out of Italy, they go with every outfit and have a rugged relaxed but cool look, are they worth $400+ depends on how you value art

A friend has a pair. They look so old and trashy. Her husband spent a fortune on them and had to get them shipping in from overseas. They look like someone bedazzled a pair of used shoes from a thrift shop and then threw them in a mud puddle. Gross.
