One of the best Mac Gyver's scenes...
i can see how those guys thought macgyver and pinky cant get out BUT how are they stupid enough to think they would drown.... ever heard of lying on the back and floating.... the body floats and just the occasion kick or 2 can keep someone a float nearly forever. Of course they never show this in the show, they show the way they could drown by staying upright and eventually you would get tired and actually drown
any one can survive this. even though I climb out, I would jump back in.
They don't even need to do that. There's some handles above the water on what looks like some sort of maintenance hatch that they could hold onto. There's also a window ledge slightly above that. These shows are best enjoyed if you don't analyze the situation too hard or you'll find lots of plot holes.
