First flight for my 5 yr old son in Piper Cub

My son has been patiently waiting for the day that I would finally take him flying. I held off until I was comfortable and confident he would be ready in all the different ways. He was definitely 👍 ready! The flight went great he was more than willing to be flying and controlling the plane the whole time 😂

Thanks Joe! I saw your video with your daughter, she certainly had a great time. I held off until I was positive my son wouldn’t do something unsafe or potentially be scared by the experience. I likely could have done it much sooner, but I think I timed it well.
This is my first time using the Insta360 and their editing software. There is certainly a learning curve. I also recorded the cockpit audio on my iPhone. Now I need to figure out how to add and sync the audio with the 360 footage. 😏

How great! Takes me back to sweet old times, 52 years ago. I was 4 and had just learned to colour between the lines. There was a contest at the local shopping mall, and I won a helicopter flight. I’ll never forget that! Of course I became an aviation geek. Jumped from the fence with a plastic bag to mimic parachutes. Saw a zeppelin landing, made my first model plane when I was 7, of course it crashed. At 12 I joined an RC aviation club. Sweet memories really. Enjoy!
