What is the Best Snow Plowing Implement for your Subcompact tractor?

- In this video, I showcase some of my favourite plowing implements for my Kubota BX 2380, or really ny sub compact tractor. The Bucket, The Homemade Snowpusher, The Real snowpusher, and the rear blade/grader blade.
The tractor is a BX 2380, R14 tires, and the standard bucket with R2 Edge Tamers added. I am running a Landpride SPL0548 Snowpusher / Push Box

i love your idea with the boards on the basic bucket i wonder if you had a 4 in 1 bucket whether you could find an even better method

Nice work - good explanation. I wonder what would happen if you put plywood sides on your snow pusher? I may try that - seems like a foot increase in length would mean a lot more snow. Also, since this is a new video maybe you can tell us what is the normal width recommendation (snow pusher) for a given tractor? A few inches wider than the tractor? 3 inches on each side? 6 inches? Thanks. Hope you do move videos. Very easy to watch.
I will have to try clamping them on the pusher and see what happens. I will do a video on it this winter (or maybe a short if it doesn’t go well). For the pusher, I would just ensure it is wider than the tractor. The BX dealer recommended the 4ft pusher to me. I have seen people have luck with up to a 60 inch though. Most believe it is a bit too wide. I have never had trouble with the 4 foot.
I like the plywood! lol I bought a new tym T 264 the spring before last and we didn't get hardly a snowflake! I'm curious, you were having a hard time steering, did you have the loader in float mode?
Sometimes is the answer. Steers better when it isn’t for sure.
What size snow pusher and rear grading blade you using?
4 ft pusher and 5ft grader blade.
How did you attach the boards to the bucket?
Just with clamps. Super low tech. I have videos on it.
I watched BigGuyLittleTractor videos on the boards to the bucket snow pusher. It is a simple solution and a great idea 👍
Thanks! Just be careful not to angle the bucket too far down or the boards can break. I find it works best with the skid shoes.
@@BigGuyLittleTractor thanks for the reply. I built some after watching your video. You are right about having to be careful when you are dumping. I am going to modify mine before the winter. I think I am going to give a little up sweep on the bottom edge. It should help. Thanks for sharing the idea.. PS I used road signs. 😎👍🚜
