    Unbelievable to think that the producer didn't want Wyatt to perform in his wheelchair on the grounds that 'It was not suitable for family viewing' What a tool! Sense prevailed in the end.

    With all the soporific stuff that was on TOTP in those days, this was a revelation. The extended version, with it' earthy bass is wonderful.

    Interesting, Wyatt seemed able to move his feet but could not walk.

      That’s not uncommon with spinal injuries. With someone who has an “incomplete” spinal injury, they often lose functional ability but have chronic never pain; similar to phantom pain that many amputees have, myself included :)
