***** It's not actually. The initial hype for it is. If you still have the app (I don't know if you do or don't) You'll notice gyms change many times a day.
It's just not as obvious as it was, when you had 200 people in one spot playing the game because there was 3 or 4 lures in one spot. It's just being played more casually now.

Question can you use it to catch pokemon types you haven't caught before?... also does it work with the app ruuning in the background as apposed to the foreground? and does doinffg so still drain your battery super fast?

I had a problem where it would dissconnect everytime my phone locked.
easy fix, turn off power saving mode in your phone.

Mine just keeps vibrating and flashing green. Pressing the button does the catch sequence but that's it

What's the distance of the device? Since I'm not allowed a phone in my workspace, it's left in a lockbox maybe 50 feet away. I'm guessing that's probably too far?

How auto is the pokemon go plus? Do you need to press any button to catch anything? Some say no and guides online say yes. I'm confused.

Through the pokémon GO + its all manual as you need to press the button in order to spin a pokéstop or Catch a pokémon. But this can be Automated by using a rubber band or anything to hold down the button
Just bought one, everytime I tried to catch a pokemon, it flashed red without flashing white once...
And what does just blinking red mean there's no notification

Edgar Torres They are actually doing something different with Sun and Moon, obviously it's still turn based but the game is completely changing the formula.. getting rid of Gyms, having Boss Battles (of sorts), being story driven and actually having both versions being different with events playing out differently depending on which version you have.. it's no longer just Pokemon being version exclusive, they're expanding on the version exclusive thing with each game feeling different with how time flows, how certain events play out etc
The Pokemon Formula has been completely changed! I couldn't be happier :)

Ok ok ok ok, but WHERE DO I BUY IT?!?!?!?! Literally anywhere I look I can only buy a replacement bracelet, but like literally the cloth bracelet part, not the actual technology. It's not on Pokemon's website, it's not on amazon, it's not even on ebay. Did it get discontinued or anything?

gamestop, amazon, walmart, etc... they come in the blue box in the video. some areas sold out quick, but i went 3 hours after opening and they still had a rack full of them.

I've had it for a few days now and I think it's pretty great. flashes green for pokemon you already have and yellow for ones you don't. either way you save a TON of battery on your phone if you take the phone out when it blinks instead of having it out at all times. hope this helped.

its low power bluetooth similar to a pebble or apple watch itll use way less battery than the app does

It counts steps even when the screen is off :D
this honestly sounds pretty cool. Its a way to keep up lvling and farming candy when you are somewhere and cant jus hold your phone around. The price...yikes

The fact that the thing only gives you a single chance to catch a Pokémon compared to using the app where you can try until the Pokémon flee, is so moronic and makes the gadget almost useless for the only thing it was supposed to do

I'm only getting this if it drains this device's battery instead of my phone's, and it acts like a pedometer and I can hatch an egg without using much of my phone's battery. If it doesn't do that then this device is useless.

They released it too soon, they should've prepared a few updates then released the first version, then after a couple weeks release an update and so on so they could've had a headstart

Bluetooth battery drain has and always will be negligible.
