Every head unit had unique code. There are around 6 or 7 different codes. Which one matches to your head - nobody knows. Search codes on the old forums. I have cassette version XR-M510. Found codes on some UK forum.
I had one best unit around, was in my car a week, visited my wife, some thieving scum bag nicked it, out of my brand new car, I hope the stereo caught fire, why can’t people have and keep nice things,
I miss my cox m600. I bought it around the year 2000 and it lasted me a long time. I wish I still had it

I have problem with this Car Stereo. On the small screen the buttons doesn't work. Could the ribbon cable be broken?
Yes broken ribbon cable.
