- It doesn't matter if you're a Belieber or the furthest thing from it, Justin Bieber is about to win you over. We sat down in a super open, raw and honest interview with him - it was just us, his manager Scooter, and a couple members of his entourage - and we talked about everything from his new music, having a purpose, and cutting people out of his life to loving Selena Gomez, his recent 'bad' behavior...and what gave him a wake up call and made him turn it all around.

He is so calm and honest here. I like this Justin the most. Some interviews are just with random questions like "who are you dating, etc.." but this interview is getting under Justins surface and actually reaching his emotions. If you've been a belieber for a long time - you know when Justin is honest.

People say Justin's changed for the better, but I've always seen this side of him, and not the "side" of him that the media and newspaper bring up. He's always been humble and loving towards everyone, but I'm so glad he has finally reached a point in his life where he has found himself and really is able to truly show that side and just show everyone what an amazing, wise and inspiring person he is. After these 8 years that I've loved and supported him, I couldn't be more proud.
Right i always seen this side of him that is loving and perfect and is human and makes mistakes i never listen to the media because they always make up things they never tell the truth and they think that people listen to what they say and love them but really nobody listens and everybody loves the people they talk about i love justin i dont want anything from him excpept to meet him and tell him how strong him and his music made me and tell him how i feel about him that he is wonderful and shouldnt listen to the damn media and all those lies hes perfect the way he is

Justin Bieber is a protege. He taught himself as a baby to play the guitar, drums and thought himself how to sing. He never took lessons and he loved what he did from when he was small. Justin is extremely talented and should be recognized more for his pure talent

Let's not over exaggerate. Music was just a hobby for him. He comes from a musical family. His moms friends and his dad and his grandmother helped him learn the instruments he knows and hes able to sing through genetics because his parents and grandmother can sing fairly well. You know how many kids grew up with that same kind of musical influence famous and non famous? People make me laugh trying to make this dude out to be some once in a lifetime talent. There's not one thing he can do that other artists can't. He has talent no doubt but he is just talented compared to your every day Joe who has no musical knowledge or talent. Compare him to Charlie puth or even nick jonas or shawn Mendes and don't focus on how much bigger he is than them and just focus on all their actual talent and all three of those guys one up him in one department or another and he'll look not so impressive based on his actual ability vs their ability. Especially Charlie... that dude does everything himself, he doesn't need a poo bear or Julia Michaels or a rodney Jerkins to write and produce his songs for him because he can do it alone and he'll show you and take you through his whole producing process

Poo bear has been responsible for most of his music since his journals album... and before that he had people like dark child, mike Posner and the dream write some of his biggest hits. The guy isnt a songwriter, notice in his interviews he never goes into depth about how the music was made... that's because he didnt have much to do with the creating process except input. It's like going to subway and telling them what you want on your sandwich and how you want the sandwich to taste or already ordering one of their custom sandwiches... it's your input but you aren't the one responsible for making the sandwich... it's the same with his music, he tells the producers and songwriters where he is in his life, how he feels and what kind of sound hes going for and they pretty much do most of the composing for him... just educate yourself and watch the interviews or read them online of the songwriters who wrote for him explain how the songs were made. Especially Jason boyd's interviews, who is also a close friend of justin so he would never admit that he does most of the work for justin but when he explains how certain songs he wrote for him came together he pretty much tells on himself
justin's voice is always so soothing
When he was younger, i didn't take much interest of him because he was just getting famous, and he was getting into lots of trouble ( all famous people do) . But seeing him raw and honest gives me so much more respect for him as a person.

Justin actually went off the rails for only about a year and a half (mid 2013 to end of 2014) and then he picked himself up again and even though all the haters were out there, he stuck to his guns and in 2015 did a complete turnaround, put out Purpose and the rest is history.

These are my favorite kind of interviews and I've been seeing a lot of them popping up lately. The raw, deep, emotional side of celebrities that can help us relate to them better. Same with the 5SOS interview on Sirius XM it was so deep and really showed the guys who they were and what they are interested in and what their music is all about.

This is the Justin Bieber is the one i remember. The kind hearted young man, not the selfish jerk that he used to be. I can tell that his relationship with God has gotten a lot better. I'm proud of how far he's come and I know that God's going to continue to bless him throughout his career.

It's just ridiculous beyond belief how I used to hate who he was for years and now I'm slightly turning into one of his fans, admiring his hard work and attitude towards people he's working with, the fans and most importantly God himself. As I'm a Christian myself, I love the love he has for God, especially that he's such a known figure in the world and he's influencing it in a very good way while revealing that his identity doesn't belong to himself, but God! Can't get enough of his recent interviews as they're so raw, honest and easy to relate to as most of you have likely figured! Definitely gonna make my way to one of his shows in the future! I literally just discovered Journals thanks to the comments below. I just did some digging and looked up some reviews for Journals and critics were actually fairly (and justly) praising the record. Even in 2015/16, critics are saying how everyone missed/overlooked Journals. It was just a case of bad timing (Justin was still bein' a shit in public eyes) and Beyonce had just dropped her surprise album. I think Purpose will always be my number one because it's how I discovered him as an artist (I've literally only been a fan 2 months... am I welcome here?) but wow, Journals is damn underrated. So much respect for him to take the reigns, go against his label and release the best thing he had (by 2013). Also, what a great interview. He may not have everything figured out, but he acknowledges that, and my respect for him and rise from being torn is admirable. You're winning over new fans, that's what a good musician does, so kudos to you JB.
