In this episode of Third Eye, Senior Journalist and Founder The Public India, Anand Vardhan Singh talks about Union Minister Smriti Irani who has sent a legal notice to Congress, Jairam Ramesh, Pawan Khera, and Netta D’Souza against their press conference on the illegal bar license of her daughter Zoish Irani. Reportedly, Zoish Irani runs an Italian Restaurant and Bar in Assagao, Goa in the name of Silly Sous Cafe and Bar. The Goa Excise Department has issued a notice to the Bar for obtaining Bar License on forged documents. After Congress held a press conference, Smriti Irani also spoke to the press and denied such charges and said that her 18-year-old daughter is a school-going child and does not run any bar. But soon after her claim, a video of famous food blogger Kunal Vijayakar surfaced in which Zoish Irani can be seen talking to the anchor and being introduced as a Young Entrepreneur. Several other documents and photographs came into the light which shows that Zoish Irani is the owner of Silly Souls. The restaurant is registered in the name of Rahul Vohra who is a director in another company, in which Smriti Irani’s husband Zubin Irani and her son Zohr Irani are also directors. There are enough proofs that clearly show that Zoish opened this restaurant and in April 2022 Smriti Irani felt proud of her daughter for this venture.
