Easy people. Kindness matters. Don't let the challenges we are all facing overshadow the gifts we all have to share. Which Lucy has an abundance of. Are you listening (Kevin). I have been following (lurking) for many months, watching Lucy with delight! So much talent and passion emerging and so enjoying her individual quirkiness. You do you Lucy. The colouring community shares so much compassion let's continue this journey together.

I learn SO much from each of your videos, and you are so patient in explaining everything. Thank you so much for all you do for this community!

I have lived on a farm for the past 23 years so never hear traffic, mostly quiet here, we are retired now so No farm work or milking cows it’s so relaxing now. 😊😊 traffic not a worry, I do feel for everyone in the UK as your heat is so draining, it’s a dry heat here which is bad enough but your humidity is awful.

Dear Lucy, this was a really lovely picture that taught me a new background technique. Learning that it is okay for one's background to become part of the design itself was a super helpful revelation for me. Thank you so much for this video and for telling us what you were doing and why. Like you, I have a problem with my hands shaking, because a birth defect called Essential Tremor, which doesn't show up until late teens to mid 20's. At 19, waiting to go to college for the first time to start my journey to an intended career in veterinary surgery, my hands started to shake dreadfully all the time. People always thought I was a very nervous person because of this. I had no idea what was wrong until I was in my late 40's. As a young girl, it was very embarrassing. It also made it difficult to learn to have readable handwriting or to try to draw or color. I want to learn to color and just have to accept that there are certain days that I have to say to myself, "Not today." The wonderful videos that you do for us, explaining what you are doing, how you do it, and why you make the decisions you do are really appreciated more than you could know on those days I can't color. I love your personality and the fact that you actually talk to us while you work so very hard to teach us new things. I enjoy your sense of humor and your sharing of your wonderful coloring talent with us even when you are not feeling well. How kind of you.

Best to keep windows closed and shut dark curtains, keep room darker and cooler, fan with a wet towel over back of chair, in Australia it gets to over 40+ not looking forward to it even though I have been here from England since 1974, it’s cold now June, July and August winter but soon it should be Spring which is lovely, apart from spiders, flies and snakes! Dec, Jan and Feb really hot 🔥 especially February.. Australian homes are fitted usually with some sort of cooling air conditioning systems. I just found RJ’s books and I want all of them 😊

Hi Lucy! Such an amazing treat to catch a video and listen to you chat as you turn a regular page into a work of art! I've been absent for a few months from CZcams due to physical issues with my fractured wrist and a few bumps in or healing properly so I couldn't color for a few months since I fractured it in March. I'm finally able to start to color slowly which is better than not being able to color at all. Adult coloring was helping me cope with some of my mental health issues of battling my depression and high anxiety. Not being able to physically color i started in a downward spiral and I discovered that by watching your videos and color along videos to be very therapeutic. It's because of your chatting and your color-alongs which have helped me tremendously to go in the right direction when battling severe depression and anxiety. I have been living vicariously by watching your channel because I love to listen to you can't plus you have taught me so many techniques. You are one of my favorite go to CZcamsrs and you have made a change in my life for the better because of you channel content. I just wanted you to know and to say thank you.
I don't do well in heat which sucks every ounce of energy out of me plus the added bonus of severe nausea from the extreme heat, sun and humidity. I only function in central air. In NE Pennsylvania, USA our temperatures seem to be averaging 83 up to 93 F on most days followed by a rain storm which just seems to bring disgusting humidity which causes difficulty in my breathing. I am so grateful for central air. Just stay comfortable and don't worry about the background noise.
I'm sorry that your move fell through but there is a reason for everything. I'm so looking forward to your upcoming videos and just enjoying your company. Keep up the amazing job Lucy! You've touched my heart and are helping me cope with my depression and anxiety. Enjoy your upcoming Holiday and just enjoy every second doing what makes you happy! I love your color-along videos! You are a beautiful woman who has made such a huge positive impact on so many lives including mine and I am truly grateful! You are such a beautiful and amazing woman who I consider a friend! Happy coloring Lucy! Have a beautiful upcoming week and try to stay cool and comfortable. Sorry so long! 😂💕🎨🖍🖌

Hi Lucy. Another gorgeously simple page. You're so good at colour combo's and creative ideas, and make it so easy to follow. The noise doesn't worry me at all. I live in Cape Town, South Africa, born in Zimbabwe and have always hated the heat. My Prismas hold up fairly well, even though we're regularly in the 30 - 35 degree range, sometimes higher. (I find the heat in the UK difficult because it always seems to be very humid when we're there in summer). We're enjoying winter just now and it's a dream colouring with my kitties on my lap. All snug and cosy. Thanks for providing hours of colouring pleasure.

Your coloring page turned out absolutely breathtaking again, I really love it, the background colors are so beautiful together for a water scene, I will have to search for those colors of Distress ink, this was one set of 4 mini ink pads you said? I will also have to buy the books of RJ Hampson, they are so much fun.
I loved watching this video, it is always fun to see you color your beautiful creations, it really is inspiring. I haven't colored in 2 days, my fibromyalgia is really bad because of the hot temperatures here in the Netherlands, especially my hands, elbows and shoulders hurt so much that I can't sleep, can't color etc. I hope it will cool down real soon, I hate this warm weather, I do better with around 20 to 22°C.

I have a set of 120 Castle Arts soft touch pencils and the booklet that comes with it says that if they get too warm then you can put them in the freezer for a few minutes, or if they get too cold you can put them on a pan in the over for a few minutes, but I've never tried it with my Prismacolor pencils. But it's something to look into and consider if you're having trouble with them getting too warm or too cold!

Like you Lucy, I too hate the heat and I live in Australia! 30° is very much par for the course in the spring and summer but even so, I hate it, particularly if it is also humid. 36° is up there but of course 40° and over is very normal here. We have evaporative cooling which is great when the temp is less than about 35° but above that, it’s effectiveness decreases. It is supposed to make your home about 10° cooler but when it is 42° that makes it a still uncomfortable 32°. Anyway, your work today is still beautiful; your colour choices are amazing. And don’t worry about the traffic noise; it is not a problem. I would rather hear that than know that you are feeling unwell. I am happy that your summer hols are coming up for you. Enjoy the time, especially the week with your hubby. 🤗😊

I grew up on a main A road. I’m used to it even though my normal traffic noise now is tractors and horses. I just feel like I’m back in my bedroom at home.
I think most people in hot countries have air con units. We succumbed last year and bought one for our bedroom because I can’t cope with the humidity. I like it dry hot, but not our English humidity. We have a weather station in our garden. The garden is sheltered. It reached 36c last Sunday. But it wasn’t too humid. I just sat very still in the shade and read. But I’m dreading next weekend and into the week. I may spend all day in the bedroom with the air conditioning on. Or drive around all day with my car air con on.
Seriously, don’t bother about the traffic noise.

Put a fan on, open the window. We don't mind the noise of traffic, fans, electric pencil sharpeners. Just do what you do, stop apologising all the time, that is more annoying than the sounds! Please do more colouring, I wait every week for you to do a colouring page and then you do a swatch video or a flip through video instead and I have to wait another week hopefully to see a colouring video. Statistically your colouring videos have over double and more the amount of views than the other ones, so please do more of those. If you have a new book that's great, just do a quick flip through and then colour a page from it on the same video. Ditch the flip throughs. Thanks, Kevin x
