The Good The Bad and The Ugly - Sad Hill Cemetery

Sad Hill is the location of the final scene of The Good The Bad and The Ugly.
There are a few tears in this one. I fondly remember watching this with my Dad at home, so when I got to Sad Hill, it all came flooding back. I got a little emotional.
St. Domingo de Silos, about an hour north of Madrid is where you need to aim for. To get the the cemetery it's about a 2 mile rough gravel road with some gradient at the end. Normal road cars were doing it just fine, and if I can do it then anyone can.
I stayed in the little village which is unspoilt and doesn't really play up on the movie. I saw a mug, a T shirt and some beer. No I didn't.

Was it a tough ride up to the site or is it a good road

Easy but I was standing up most of the way. Think Water Lane that goes from Albert up to Newlands Corner. That kind of road but for 2 miles. Dusty. At the end the bike looked very dusty but super cool!
