    As the owner of a lexus GS350f sport 2013 I took a drive in this car and whats crazy is that I had the same experience its the best car Iv'e ever driven and iv'e driven a lot I couldn't believe how well it drove its the first car that made me smile my audi never even did that it drives like the 2014 A8 and the 2014 BMW 750 which cost ALMOST 100K if you drive this car you will buy it best car in its class and above its class period. I CANT IMAGING WHAT THE CADILLIAC V WILL BE LIKE EVEN IF YOU DISLIKE THIS CAR YOU SHOULD AT LEAST DRIVE IT ONCE IT WILL CHANGE YOUR MIND ABOUT GM.GUARANTEED.

    Love everyone making recall jokes In the comments. I guess they can't handle the truth that this cts beats the germans at their own game. I would buy this first anyways. I have always had better luck with GM then I've had with European cars.

    I've had mine for 2 weeks now. Love the engine and handling; CUE isn't my favorite. I agree the list price of ~$72k is a bit much, but GM threw in $6k in rebates, and the dealer was thrilled to negotiate to make the Q2 sales numbers before June 30.

    I thought these were one of the most beautiful sedans when they first came out back in 2013 & they still look stunning here in 2021. My boss recently bought a slightly used blue on white 2019 CTS with 2.0 turbo 4. It replaced his old 2004 Acura TL which was starting to have a lot of problems. I personally would never buy one mainly cause of Cadillacs long term reliability (My parents had a 2004 DeVille which had non-stop problems for the seven years they had it) as well as those horrible touch sensitive buttons which I've sampled in the past at auto shows & they only responded not even half of the time. I currently drive one of its competitors, a 2016 Lexus GS350 F-Sport currently with 49k miles & hasn't had any problems so far as expected.

      If you have a chance get one, they only made less than 5000 Vsports in the 5 years they were produced. Right now they are priced almost the same as the other CTS models, and it's like owning a baby supercar. These Vsport review videos convinced me, all the reviewers couldn't stop smiling, so I just bought a 2016

    On the sound, I think my Fiero GT sounds pretty damn good. Really the sound of stock GM or any manufacture's V6s for that matter depend on if its stuck in performance based car or not. If you change the exhaust though, a 1996 Buick Regal will sound amazing.

    Let me explain something to you people. I am a Automotive Quality Professional by trade. Most of you have an impression that recalls are a bad thing. Recalls are good for you personally. First off, OEM, (GM, Toyota, Mercedes, Audi, etc.) do not make the car parts and components, they just assemble all the components together. The parts are made by suppliers. Things go wrong at every supplier, and OEM, yes every one. Sometime its workmanship, sometime its a bad design other its just poor decision making (management). The difference is if they voluntarily let you know about it and take steps to make it right.
    Most other don't recall because they are afraid to damage their reputation. Most put reputation before your safety and well-being. I will guarantee you most of you are driving around with some defective or at least questionable components on your new car right now. And the suppliers and OEM are aware off it. If you do happen to notice a problem dealer warranty will replace it. Most, damn near all OEM and suppliers are " don't ask, don't tell" . Hell, why would they.
    Every time there is a forced recall by the Department of Public Safety, the find evidence that the company knew about it.
    I am in the business.
    So, much props to GM and anyone who voluntarily recalls does so. Unlike others who shall remain nameless. (oh, these floor mats make my car suddenly accelerate and won't stop) hint, hint.

    Excellent vehicle, test drove the Vsport and for the money is a far better buy vs Mercedes E Class and BMW 5 Series, both Germans being bloated by the Euro. As for the negative trash comments from the status driven euro moron fanboys below congrats to the gentleman who correctly points out that auto manufacturers are basically assemblers these days and recalls while annoying are certainly the domain of all vehicle producers. That said, I could not be happier with the Ford and GM products I own and can certainly see myself owning a Cadillac in the future.

    It's still a cadillac. And a $70,000 cadillac at that, I'd rather get a BMW 550i Xdrive considering that I do live in a state where AWD is a must. They don't even offer the CTS V-Sport in AWD.

      @IKhanNot Před 10 lety +2

      The 550i X Drive is a badass machine and overall probably the better car because of the usable interface but I test drove a 535i and it felt floatier than BMWs of old mind you it didn't have the M Sport suspension option but even then the steering also felt feather light. I don't like the direction BMW is going and they have some ridiculous features like active sound which pipes in sounds from outside which is plain weird.
