Guys be warned! many of the reviews on the amazon link state that after about 6 months it stops heating properly! only cooling seems to work long term. Someone also stated it shorted in one of the recent reviews. Exo Terra has been known to buy items from wholesale suppliers, private label them , and resell for double or triple the price. In some outlier cases - it's been as high as 9x-10x the price with items such as the "Exo Terra Reptile mister" which can be sourced from US ware houses in bulk for around 1-2$ a piece.
NOT TRASHING ON THE COMPANY, as this is quite regular practice for companies, i just feel its fair to be informed. I do use some Exo Terra products like their enclosures, and their mister.

Best incubator seems to be homemade drink cooler with aquarium heaters and circulation pump. That or spend 500+ on a reliable brand.

Sounds like you could brumate some small species too with it being able to go down so low. That's neat.

very informative videos as always, i have been recommending your channel to all my friends on gecko forums! i am more into Gargoyles and chewies and would like to get started with cresties! even if gargoyles are quite similar i appreciate the way you explain your business & passion, in a simple words! have you tried breeding other Geckos? i would love to hear about your trial and errors it certainly helps us new breeders! stay safe and keep it up 👏

Thank you for this I bought one after reading reviews of cooling and heating incubators. I did not know about some of the extra features that you pointed out.

Now that it has been a couple months since you made this video, how has the incubator continued to work for you? There are many reviews on amazon which make it seem as if this product lacks consistency and durability.

Really really bad. I had 3 and all broke in under a year. They started cooking instead of heating because originally they were meant as drink coolers but they got rebranded.

I was planning on getting one in the past but I got turned away from reading some amazon reviews saying that the heating element would burn out or it would come not working after shipping and they struggled to get good one even with a warranty. I might get one in the future getting more information on it. Thank you altitude exotics!

If you don't put holes in my cups and use the Pangea hatch, do I still need to add water on the bottom of this incubator? I just bought one for my Crested Gecko eggs.

What is the cost to run at tep 80 per day? I need it to run for 90-120 days for box turtle eggs? Also I am looking for on line manual Exo Terra Incubator. Can you help with this?

Does incubation temperature determine sex in crested geckos like it does for some reptiles? I’ve been reading that there are a ton of males on the market right now in comparison to females. It got me wondering - is this just because breeders are holding on to their females or are more males just hatching? Or even both? If more males are hatching, could it be because most people are incubating at a certain temp? 🤔I am not yet a breeder but maybe someday. New to cresties and trying to learn as much as I can.
