The Skating Rink in Davos | Euromaxx

We travel to the Swiss winter sports resort of Davos which boasts the largest open air skating rink in Europe. It covers an area equivalent to two-and-a- half soccer fields, offering training space for amateurs and professionals. Former ice hockey player Martin Hänggi shows us around this complex that is nearly 140 years old and has hosted more than 30 European and World championship. I have wonderful memory of this location in Davos learning to skate in 1961 while staying at a local kinder home. I was 11 years old and hope to return soon.

They don''t have the big rink anymore. :( It's now a few rinks separated from each other.Google Davos webcam.I just Googled it,no ice yet as still warm there.
