What's your favourite item from OCK?

I’m definitely with Fauzi on this. Sardine puffs are my ultimate number 1! It’s juicy and complements the buttery crust like Romeo and Juliet. Not only that, the spiciness is just right, there is a kick but not too much until it overpowers the tomato base. Excellent creation. The only downside is that they changed the pastry, now it’s flatter. It used to be like the curry puff, I feel like there is a better filling to pastry if it was in that curry puff shape, and also more filling. Either way I don’t see any difference to the experience and flavour compared to the current flat shape. Hope to win the giveaway and see my fav talent and the best singer in my heart, Ms Sew!!!!

In the past they used to mix cumin seeds into the chicken wing batter to give that special taste. But over time i think they used grounded spices instead, because some people might find it a turn off. As for chicken wings being too oily, the issue could be the technique when it comes to frying. A trained chinese chef like those doing zi char will know that to "remove" the oil from frying, the trick is to raise the temperature of the oil during the last few minutes of cooking. The idea is that oil is thick and viscous at lower temperature and flows like water at much higher temperatures. So when it is removed and drained on the strainer, the oil drains more easily. This basing on my experience working with thick black fuel oil which needs heating to make it less viscous.

My personal favourite is the chicken pops drenched in nacho cheese but I didn’t see you eat it.However when I eat my chicken pops I prefer the chicken pieces to be crispier as it provides more crunch to it.Hope to win the giveaway😀.would be great if I could see adria as my brother is a huge fan.

my fav is actually the cheezy chicken ball. even though its rated E here, cause of nostalgia, it always remains so nice in my mind. i used to have it when cca ended ard 8+pm in JC and my friend would pull me to OCK before we boarded the MRT to go home. it may taste cheap i guess but it was quite a healing snack for a tired starving student :)

My all time favourite is their Sotong Wing OnStik. Eating it for nearly a decade, the taste can never go wrong. It's just great sotong fried in tantalising batter nothing else and that's what makes it so goooooood! Simple is best indeed.

Personally, I have actually never tried the Sardine puff and always stuck to the normal curry puff will be really interesting to be able to finally try it and learn what the members have been raving about. Nonetheless, my personal favourites will have to be the sotong wings (childhood favourite from when my mother would buy them from the OCK at Heartland Mall after my brother’s art lessons at Yamaha) and also the chicken wing (no other place can beat it)!!

This video reminded me to go to Old Chang Kee before I fly back to the UK for uni this week, it really is something that I'll miss a lot because it's so quintessentially Singaporean. Favourite item BY FAR is the sardine puff 😍

My fave from OCK is def the curry puff. Its just a classic that i've eaten since I was a kid. Love the buttery pastry and its usually filled generously. Worth the price and I would for sure continue buying it!

My usual OCK go-to snacks are chicken wings, sotong wing, crab nuggets! I've never tried the big fish balls before, but looks like it's worth a try! It would be nice to receive from Adria as we have the same preferences in OCK

My favourite is definitely the chicken mushroom puff!! I love how it tastes so creamy on the inside, with the buttery crust skin on the outside. Always my go to choice when I need a fuss free quick bite, or just to cheer myself up after a hard day☺️

my favourite has got to be the sotong head on stick!! contrary to what you guys mentioned in the video, i actually feel like the sotong head as it just hits all the right spots for me. the key is you Have to get it when it’s hot. the smaller size of the chewy sotong head is contrasted so well with the long yet well coated tentacles of the sotong head. Like pls. every single time i have it it feels like a marriage between the blend of flavours and the delectable textures in my mouth. there was once where i ate a sotong head stick every single day for a week. not kidding, i was that obsessed. i feel like if my future wife does not like sotong head, i dont think we can be together. i have just one gripe, maybe two. why are the sotong heads always out of stock? secondly, im quite sad that you guys rated it a C. to each their own, but matters like these are unacceptable…. perhaps the world would be a better place if we could just have sotong head sticks everyday, the gross national happiness level will truly rise as we band together for our love of sotong heads. pls. i want to win. i haven’t had a sotong head in 2 weeks because they’ve always been out of stock. sotong heads are vital to my vitality. the cornerstone to every right decision in my life. the true fabric that weaves our souls together. i love sotong heads.

I always stick to the safe choices, so my typical go-to is the classic curry puff! Having watched the entire episode, I really hope this would be the first giveaway I can win in 2022 so I can try all the other recommendations and share them with my family!! It would totally make my year if Hafeez shows up to surprise me!

My personal favourite from OCK is actually the crab nugget! Even though I haven’t eaten it in a very long time, I can still remember its taste since I ate it almost everyday when I was in Primary school. (I’m already a working adult :’)) I’m glad it’s rated A in here!

my favourite item(s) would be the sotongonstik and curry puff! I really love the chewy texture of the sotong combined with the savouriness of the batter, and the curry puff crust is definitely one of the better ones I've had. I would love for Amanda to deliver the box, I think she's really funny and the videos she's in are always great!

My favourite has got to be their potato curry puff. It's my go-to snack whenever I pass by OCK because it's filling enough yet it's not an entire meal. Also the pastry is really made in the way where you don't need to heat it up even if you are leaving it outside for a later snack after hours, it still tastes good! That's why it's still my favourite curry puff.
