She has a high-to-low swing but I think the paddle is actually moving in an upward direction at the moment of contact with the ball. However, the paddle face is above the crease of her wrist. Freeze it at 11:39. Totally illegal serve.
@@stephaniemcdonald6916 no, she already made contact before the the paddle leveled out. It would be impossible for ball to clear net otherwise. The illegal serve is hitting down on ball contact being above the net for an extremely powerful shot making it hard to handle for anyone. They are not going to call serves that are borderline because it’s hard to prove in real time. Her serves do not give her any added benefit so why try to call borderline.
@@matc241 In my mind, 4.0 is 4.0, no matter the age (and I'm over 65). At my club pretty much every 3.5 woman would blow these women off the court. Don't get me wrong, I loved watching this match and it all comes down to what the local definition of a particular rating is. So in the end it doesn't matter. Congratulations to both teams for making the final!
Wow, Great Match Ladies .. great defense, shot making and teamwork ..
Great match. Thanks for filming.
Learning so much watching your content.
Both teams are impressive, great match.
Thank you for posting.
I’ve really been enjoying watching your videos from the 2023 Open. Great Job! Will you be attending and filming the 2024 Open?? Hope so
Yes! We're in Naples all week. Many videos coming soon.
Fun match! Thanks for sharing.
Nice!!!!!!!!
Language warning. Love these ladies already…
すげ〜!
Both games eerily similar. Both games tied at 6-6 then winning team goes on 5 point run for 11-6 outcome.
nice
Blue shorts great cut serve back hand & forehand . Extremely legal
That's legal
The player with blue shorts - isn't her paddle moving downward at impact? Isn't that illegal? Thanks for the education, anyone.

The lady in the blue shorts periodically has wicket spin, especially on her serves.
Really blue shorts is not a lady
@@bobcohen3056 It is a "women's" match!
That serve looked out, I think.
players should be wearing safety glasses
i see a lot of short serves here --- no reason for short serves -- doesn't take much to get it to a foot from the baseline
Lol, done for reasons, harder to get the ball whack right to U!!
Enough of all the paddle tapping nonsense after every play.
Definitely not 4.0
Not where I Iive either. Especially in a gold medal round.
Maybe not in mens 18+, but ladies 65+ I guess it is.
4.0 in one group is not the same as 4.0 in another, supposed to be, but isn't.
