It centers around a detective in Portland named Nick burkhardt, who is a Grimm. In this world, humanoid creatures known as Wesen blend in with human society, using an ability called ‘Woging’ (pronounced vogue) to take on a human shape. Grimms, like nick, have the innate ability to see through this disguise and see the Wesen in their true form. Because ancient grimms viewed Wesen as monsters, grimms are well-known for being Wesen killers and hunters. The show in tow revolves around Nick investigating Wesen related cases all over Portland. Also; Wesen inspired many legends and myths; The ‘Blutbaden’ inspired the tale of the werewolf for example. Even very prominent figures of history were Wesen in the show… Like HITLER. And as such Wesen inspired the many myths, they all have unique abilities; the Dämonfeuer for example, inspired the tales of dragons and fittingly breath fire. And of course there’s the Wesen shown here; the Musasat Alsh-Shabab. Yes, that’s the full name. And ANOTHER detail; many Wesen also inspired the tales of the brothers Grimm, and fittingly some Wesen have German names, as some would have guessed. Some examples are; Blutbad Fuchsbau Fuchsteufelwild Löwen Bauerschwein

@Delsin42 coming from someone who watched Grimm as the episodes were coming out, I'd say the final season was actually rushed, like there was a lot of potential left. Btw it only had 6 seasons. Kinda how like Supernatural started off with "Monster of the week" type of episodes it slowly developed and a rushed ending.
Grimm is such an underrated show I've watched it multiple times now and I love it. Hopefully another company picks up the story where they left off since they left it open on purpose
