@@Franciscohazel i think you should have ,I have been having difficulties in terms of knowing which rudiments or combinations for styles like Zuck and soca ,I feel that I am limited I can fill more the songs ,but i don’t know which rudiments to combine and create drum patterns ,breaks and so.
@@hibraimealexandre946 well, the most important part is to be solid on the groove. If you start out with rudiments, you might be doing too much "stuff" and mess up the groove. I know that playing only the groove might sound boring and simple. Once you good at all different grooves, you can start adding more of the flashy stuff. There are also of those gospel chops video's on CZcams to get ideas from. If you go through my videos, I have about 7 videos on different fills you can use in soca music.
