Why is crypto like a cockroach?

- It’s really hard to kill cockroaches. Stamping on them, chopping off their head and even flushing them down the toilet won’t work. Much like cryptocurrency-an industry which, despite some recent setbacks, seems able to bounce back when you least expect it.

The United States as we know it is no more. All signs point to 2024 being a year of significant economic hardship for the entire nation. Put your cash to use straight away to increase its value. I was aware that I needed to invest. I had no idea how quickly a few thousand dollars a month would go up. Though it is. Since 2020, I've made about $600,000.
Congrats. Your ability to control the whole risk profile of your investments and prevent irreversible capital loss will be your actual financial unlock. A plan must be in place to take advantage of opportunities to profit when they arise.
It’s precisely at times like these that investors need to be on guard against the next certainty. You don’t have to act on every forecast, hence i will suggest you get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the shares/ETF you focus on.
I wholeheartedly concur; I'm 60 years old, just retired, and have about $1,250,000 in non-retirement assets. Compared to the whole value of my portfolio during the last three years, I have no debt and a very little amount of money in retirement accounts. To be completely honest, the information provided by invt-advisors can only be ignored but not neglected. Simply undertake research to choose a trustworthy one.
Certainly, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’AILEEN GERTRUDE TIPPY” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
The Economist: "Why is crypto like a cockroach?"
Answer: When you trade with a can of RAID in hand!🤭🤭🤭
I've recently had the pleasure of using the incredible copy trading platform, Equitrix, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results. If you're looking for a reliable and efficient way to enhance your trading experience, Equitrix should be at the top of your list!
How are cryptos a choice for «all kinds of unsavory things» when they are mostly traceable, unlike bills?
exactly. FUD for their boomer audience.
@@horvathsogranfume658 It's laughable how transparent the disinformation is.
the wallet address cannot be traced to its owner
@@Timotheeee1 ok boomer
You can clearly see that they dont know what they are talking about
I can see the banks paid the economist well for this article..
just check who ownes the Economist Group
Like a cockroach? More like a honey badger. You guys are rude!
if you know who ownes the Economist Group you understand why they report like that :b
Banks. Banks are like cockroaches.
The only way it can fail is if the value drops to zero, and a lot of people believe crypto is worth more than zero. Absolutely true, but doesn't that describe fiat currency as well?
Yah, wait it does
If the government demands taxes to be paid in its currency, the value will never drop to zero as there will always be a demand.
@@gavingavinchan Technically true, because the government is coercing demand, so there is a way that government can force a currency to be worth something. But the actual value of fiat currencies in the real world is not driven by this. I mean, if we want to express totally unrealistic scenarios, yes, but all the people could move away, making government mandates irrelevant. That's also a highly unrealistic possibility. And if one looks at historic cases of extreme hyperinflation, like Zimbabwe hyperinflation in 2008 or the Hungarian hyperinflation of 1946, enforced demand through taxes did not keep those fiat currencies from failing.
True, and follow what she said, every currency is a cockroach
@@jrhoadley The real value of fiat currency is definitely driven by the economics of the parent country. If the country's economic state or monetary policy fails then the currency will fail as well. Crypto has no such backing and is thus purely speculative.
Title should be "Why Bankers are like cockroaches"!
🚨 EXACTLY… propaganda sponsored by Wall Street.
the economist complaining about money is peak nonsense
Yeah, I am sure you know more than they do because you have an opinion.
@@tallspicy clearly. Nice logically invalid premise tho, with ur appeal to authority. 🤣🥴
What tf did I just watch? I'm far from a crypto enthusiast, but this is simply blatantly unobjective and partial propaganda. Economist maintains its steady rise to tabloid standards.
Is here to stay 🎉
Apparently, The Economist is trying to give crypto a bad stereotype.
lol yep. according to them we should trust central banks and wall st. 😂
Right, “the media” is giving it a bad name. Not all the grift, corruption, scams, and endless theft.
Well, to be fair…Crypto has given crypto a bad stereotype over the past few years
@@silverXnoise so you blame cash every time there is a robbery?
@@horvathsogranfume658Please, your attempt at strawmaning is laughable. Crypto is infamous for gritos and scams. Or will you also defend NFTs now as well?
There will always be speculators. Thus things like Crypto will stay around until they either die on their own because hot money moves on or something in the same vein but better comes along to replace it.
Unlike most investments this one is publicy known to be artificially created and not to manifest anything other than money. things like this are only created once in a lifetime.
It's Alice!! I immediately recognised the voice but it's the first time I've seen her!
It's quite simple, people see it as a potential investment option. It's not rocket science, so I'm a bit disappointed by this this click bate video title.
Coming from someone who missed out…no doubt
The economist doesn't have a clue, this is pathetic
you're embarrassing yourselves.
Thank you WEF Employees
Lol, I'd never use crypto to pay for illegal/malicious activities, it's way to transparent and tracebale. I'd take cash for sure.
Crypto in the hands of Central Banksters is absolutely like a cockroach. Say no thank you to the Central Banks CBDC digital fiat currency.
Always got some folks with their crypto stolen. It is so unsafe. And these poor folks put their entire retirement in it.
You're about to hear the worst take ever.
That was a stretched analogy.
🚨 THIS PROPAGANDA WAS BROUGHT TO YOU BY WALL STREET. 🚨
Thanks for published imran khan article.
The reason why crypto wont die is because the blockchain wont die. Also people are using both crypto and the blockchain to solve real world problems. Finally just like traditional finance, laundering money through crypto can be traced.
I use cryoto because off globalists against it
I respect and hold the economist in high regards but this video is more comedy then proper journalism. Absolutely no facts just opinions and just being biased. Every asset in the world is priced according to their demand. Yes I do agree there are a lot of shitcoins and one should not invest all their money into it. But please do some research and investigation in the industry itself. You’re sounding like someone who says who needs a mobile phone because we have phone booths or I just pass by. Yes western world it might be less interesting as we have an proper banking system, also not perfect. But as long as their are more people with mobile phones then bank accounts in this world, crypto has a purpose. Especially in areas where people don’t have that much freedom or technology. For example crypto coin Celo where the Gates foundation is involved in/was with the goal to design a digital/mobile payment system for rural Africa. Also saying crypto is for criminals ain’t correct either as transactions can be traced on the blockchain and with KYC its more transparent than cash. There are always loopholes in every system. Book I recommend to read is: Our money is broken by the brothers Slagter. Is crypto/blockchain technology the next dominant thing probably not, does it has a purpose definitely.
I used to respect the economist too, but they have delivered some shocking videos that display either pure ignorance, or corruption/bias. Shame on me.
Thanks for that.b
Appalling video....
I’m surprised to see the Economist started on such a wrong footing! The illicit activities involving crypto currencies are small by comparison to fiat currencies and the banking system. This video sounded like the Economist is the part of the establishment who feared their business being eroded by crypto. Not the kind of neutral stance I used to see from this newspaper!
You are deadly wrong to believe there are exist a non-biased media and worship it😅
@@joyesjames8773 You are absolutely right! At least in the past the Economist pretends to be unbiased. Now they just simply couldn’t care less!

The Economist: "Why is crypto like a cockroach?"
Answer: "Because that is how capitalism works in the US, USSR and China."
Unsubscribing from your drivel.
Crypto is more stable than most currencies especially recently with all the printing and inflation that's occurred.
Wow 😮
Oh hey, look, a lame video full of disinformation that made me unsubscribe from your chanel. Thank you!
Interesting bait and switch headline

Ridiculous ignorance. I have just unsubscribed.
Economist should be ashamed to publish such content. Would be better to mention who ordered (and paid) such nonsense
My advice to everyone is this: if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to take risks. Saving is great but taking risks puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. Thanks to Liliana Pena, my port folio is doing really great and im proud of the decisions i made last year.
I think she trades for everybody I know. Met her twice at a seminar, after her lecture I had to personally beg her to be my Financial Advicer. All thanks to her.
Liliana is Definitely the best so far. she always surprises me with amazing results.. We also plan to surprise her. You must have heard of it.

2 minutes and not a single time tether is mentioned despite the fact that all of crypto is being held up by USDT. Shabby reporting from the Economist.
Did you mistake this 2min youtube vid dor a regular magazine article brother

If governments forbid all kinds of crypto activities for regular users they only will stay for criminals and other specific users like it works with drugs or torrents now. They do exist, but noone cares
