Had our anniversary trip there in 2013. EXCELLENT! Iâve been wanting to go back ever since.

My wife and I was just there this past Friday through Tuesday, service was top notch. We had the top package all exclusive and we used it let me tell you. Magna was the best place we ate at, the tomahawk steaks were great and I also ordered the lobster at the same time. The Grill was also good. Breakfast at the Kitchen Table was also good. I kept having a Blue Hawaiian drink, a guy named Caesar made one for me and I went nuts having so many of them, I must have had 30 or more and I donât drink. The Lobster House was Ok but maybe it was just my own preference on how to have my Lobster prepared.
Spend some wonderful days there but was happy to also get back home too.

Watching you guys review Im loving the resort so far. Currently looking for the perfect resort as I have been to cancun a couple of time. I will say once you go to an all-inclusive other hotels just don't seem worth it!
This resort was amazing and weâre already planning our trip for next year. The layout, the food, the service and vibe was perfect for what we were looking for. So hard! We want to try another resort but we loved EPM so much weâre conflicted. Part 2 will be released in a few days :)

I visited Excellence el Carmen in Punta Cana, and it was worth each penny I paid.. It was a solo trip, but their attention was everything. Since the minute I arrived.. Im planning to return

what is the nightlife like? quiet or do they have stuff going on?
Within the resort they have nightly shows/events. This resort is in a more secluded and quiet area. For nightclubs and late night entertainment you would have to drive out 20-30min to Cancun Hotel Zone.
I go this weekend for our honeymoon we didnât do the club membership though
Other than the EC lounge, Magna and the private beach it doesn't really matter as much and you still have so much at your disposal. You're still going to have a blast! Enjoy!!

We planned it out ourselves because we didnât do many excursions. If youâre going to be out and about then probably best to go with a travel agent

Is everything literally inclusive even the Aroma cafe? Or theirs some things you have to pay for
All the restaurants, food and aroma cafe are included. The activities (jet ski, parasailing, massages) we paid separately

Thank you so much for watching! We tipped our driver $20 from the resort to the airport each way ($40 for the entire trip). We tipped the restaurant servers $5-$10 each sit down meal depending on restaurant category (more for dinner), $1-$2 each time we received cocktails poolside/beachside or from swim up bars, a few dollars for housekeeping daily...We are not huge drinkers. We spend max $100/day on tips if that....I hope that helps!
Was the excellence club worth it? Is it a lot more expensive? It seems you get even better service being a member
For us it was. More exclusivity, a lounge area, restaurant, cabanas etc. Itâs worth the price đđŒ

Hi, i dident see in this video the beach, can you tell me please if there is seaweed there?? i heard that all cancun area is full of zargasos or seaweed....
We have beach footage in part 2 that will be released in a few days. Yes, there is a lot of seaweed but they did a good job of keeping it clean.
We are staying there in August 2022 and it says the ride from Cancun airport is almost 40 minutes. I noticed in the beginning of the video you mentioned it was only like 15 minutes total?
Thanks for watching! To clarify, when we began documenting in the car we were only "15 minutes away".....the total ride from the airport is about 30-40 mins. I highly recommend a private transfer, such as Seasons.

Pretty much. Sometimes it rains all day and other times it rains for 10 minutes

From what we recall, evening entertainment starts around 7pm-ish

Evening Entertainment starts around 7-7:30 is open air and lovely... then around 9pm a 'theatre' show undercover but still open air starts. They have a great variety... we enjoyed the evening options! The resort is maintained beautifully and serve was wonderful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Is the spa extra charge?
Yes
Currently here . Rooms are very nice , private pool is a plus . Everyone is friendly but ⊠food is really really terrible. Expectations are usually low for resorts but was super disappointed :(
To anyone still planning, I recommended paradisus cancun over this resort. Currently cancelling our future excellence reservation for punta cana because of the experience here with food :|

We paid for EC. For us it was worth it and if we go back we'll do it again. Book well in advance for better room placement and discounts.
Does this hotel provide complimentary airport transfer, or will I need to book that separately?

Hi Brandie, we booked directly through the Excellence Resorts website 5 months in advance and received 30% off the normal rate. Excellence resorts run frequent promotions and our package included airport transfers. I hope that helps :-)
What an amazing video this resort looks perfect! My fiancĂ© and I are planning to come here for our honeymoon. What did all inclusive come with? Restaurants, room service, activities, lunch places? What are some things that arenât included or thatâs an extra charge? Thanks!
Thank you for the nice compliment! You and your fiancĂ© will love it. All restaurants are included except Magna which is Excellence Club. Room service is included. Activities such as kayaking, snorkel gear, archery, bicycle tours etc are included. We did wave runners, parasailing and painted from the pottery cart and it was an additional charge. People have raved about the mixology class which is $25/person. Unfortunately, we werenât able to get a reservation. If you book Excellence Club, they give you a complimentary hydrotherapy session per person which we highly recommend. The app and the website list all the restaurants and activities. You can also contact concierge and theyâll send you a list of all of the extra tasting classes and excursions available. With EC you have access to all restaurants, lounges, pools and private beach with a separate check in area. Booking non EC youâll still have an incredible time! Hope this helps đ

There's absolutely no other way to vacation in Cancun than all inclusive. Especially if you like to eat and drink. It is so amazing. I can't wait for us to go in April 2022. Only 29 more weeks đ€. This was a really good video and I love living vicariously through other Cancun vlogs. Awesome place

Thanks for watching! In the resort there is some night entertainment but it ends early. If you're looking for late night your best bet is the Cancun Strip
Wish there were reviews by people who didnât choose the club package. Not real interested in spending too much time around folks who are drawn to exclusivity. Not the vibe I enjoy.
