bless u rebecca. i hope u r learning to live with your loss, and you have people around u who give u love and happiness. i just had my thyroid removed because of cancer, i have just found out it is now in my lymph nodes, and im waiting for tests to be done to see if/where else the cancer has spread. my mum was diagnosed with leukemia 2.5yrs ago, went thru chemo, lost so much weight and all of her hair. she went into remission, only to find out earlier this year the leukemia has come back.it always happens to the good people. i heard once that God gives the toughest battles to his strongest soldiers. its hard to remain strong though all of the time. im so sorry for your loss.
