Mate, inshallah, you will be able to read the holy Quran, and also Ramadan is a month away, try to fast for at least one day and do challenge yourself, see what's all about, May Allah guide you to the right path.
This is the most polite, attentive atheist I've ever listened to. I really salute him for his great manners and conduct. May Allah open his chest to Islam and guide him and his partner in their journey.

Except Abbas is not being honest , and is doing slight of hand
At about the 6 minute mark he mentions a hadith , gives no source ( which it seems is always the case with him ) , and then misquotes it ( again a seemly normal thing for him to do ).
He offers it in response to the question of why there is suffering an injustice in the world if it were created by a god .
The actual Hadith Sahih Muslim 2807
Does not say as Abbas says that the person who suffered most in life dipped in paradise will not see suffering in the *world* , it says he will not see it in paradise . The same hadith says the person who " led a life of ease and plenty" dipped into hell will not see in it any comfort or material blessing.
So the hadith just says the obvious, hell is bad place to be ,paradise is good place to be , none of that explains why the world we live in is full of suffering or explains why if a just and merciful god exists why it would create that world.
You should always check Abba's quotes , they are invariably dishonest .

In history there were 4 types of people when we talk about belief in God. There is the non violent believer (Most Muslims and Christians today), the violent believer (Christians before 1800 and Muslims during 4 Caliphates and ISIS today), the non violent disbeliever (eg free thinking atheist) and the violent disbeliever (eg communist).
Of these groups only the Free Thinking Atheist can say that they are not weighed down by the crimes of the people in their group in the past.
So the question for Muslims and Christians today is this "is it ethical to worship God through a cult that has a genocidal history?"
@toncek24 Your argument is flawed. You made 2 catégories for atheists. But you did not make the same categories for Christians and Muslims. Modern liberalism has a brutal and bloody past. For example, during the french Revolution, they literally hunted and killed Christians simply for being religious

This was SO amazing, so pleasant to listen to. The host is so peaceful to listen to, he's so well spoken and calm and respectful and listens, the other young man was so open and respectful too.
Debates like this are so needed, for us Muslims and non Muslims, and I don't know about anyone else, but I dare say most would agree: talks and debates about the fundamentals of our faith and how it fits into society, and answering the very primitive, basic questions in relation to today's society, is so helpful in regards to knowing how to approach our religion with our children. They will ask and think about these things, be it in the west or in the east, and as parents we need to display this calmness and logic with them, being open to questions and having enough knowledge to answer their questions.
