Hereâs a step by step method that I do when I coffee stained shoes đđ»
1. Make sure the shoes stay fully submerged. If you donât youâre gonna get an uneven stain
2. You only need to cook one big pot of dark roast coffee. You let that cool down, then in a big container just fill it up with cold water and add the pot of coffee.
3. Make sure you have some shoe trees for your shoes, otherwise thereâs a chance the shape will get messed up.
4. Donât forget to throw the shoes in the washer when they dry up after you take em out of the coffee water.
5.if youâre doing this to shoes with suede and leather, please recondition the materials after you finish. Make sure to reset the nap of suede and condition it with something like Angelus Mink Oil, and for the leathers you use a good leather conditioner, ex: Angelus Leather Balm.
I was curious on the suede part. I've only ever did it with some Forums that didn't have any and they turned out great.
@@dylanjg18 Itâs pretty easy to do on suede, especially if itâs a natural color looking suede. You give it a light cleaning with a suede eraser, brush it out with a soft brush. Then hit it with a small amount of mink oil, once that gets in the suede you brush it one more time and you got some nice conditioned buttery suede again đđ»

@@OOZ1ES No do not uce acetone. Youâre gonna strip the finish from the leather and also dry it up even more, that shits gonna end up cracking/flaking over time.

Love the improvement, shame about the toe box, but I think it gives it character. Really got the Nigel vibes which is one of my favorite pairs of 1's I own, also makes the leather look much less cheap since you can now see more contrast between the peaks and valleys and such making it look more supple and tumbled in areas. Great work as usual man.
Interesting choice to do this to a pair of 992âs, but I like the way they turned out. Bigger bin probably would have helped the coffee dye the shoes more uniformly, but still cool. I might grab a pair of forums and try this

I've coffee dyed 2 pairs now. I've done the Neutral Grey Lows and one of the Lot Dunks and they look amazing. I didn't acetone the shoes first and did it in room temp water but I also left them for like 18+hrs

I did that to my court purple wmns Jordan 1 high OGs from last year, I also used tumeric and curry paste to get the midsole and laces to go yellow

I coffee dye all of my all white shoes once they aren't as fresh. But I just weigh them down in a plastic storage container overnight. These are dope they remind me of the Nigel Sylvester Jordan 1

Not crazy about the vintage look, but I think they look better than the clean white. Personally, I think the AF1s are the only sneakers that look good in all white (but I don't own any in white. not my vibe.). That said, another interesting project by Hes. 2 thumps up. Keep up the awesome content.

Would this method work on Vans? I have some slip-ons that I think would look better after this treatment. Theyâre canvas, I think. Theyâre the material the standard, relatively cheap, Vans Slip ons are made of. I ask this question also because I occasionally see higher end Vans, âproâ models and such, at a deep discount in white. The labor doesnât bother me, I always have coffee around, could end up with some hot deals.

I think itâs stinks that when somebody asked you where you get replacement shoelaces for those 992 she said theyâre from an old pair of 992. Thatâs not very helpful. How about seeing where you could get matching shoelaces to your original 992 is in the original color or different colors
all white 992 is dope, coffee dye custom makes it just as dope as its brand new (uncustom), can't go wrong on both these way IMO
