Sanger is a sandwich , snag is a sausage , put them together and you have a snag sanger .
And what they picked up were savs. Savaloys.
We call those frankfurts in NSW
I don’t know about the rest of Australia, but I know it’s not a thing in Victoria which was very confusing. But at any Fish and Chip Shop in S.A you can order a Hot Dog with the lot, Cooked on the grill. So Good!
@@Scott-Inc. yeh we make hot dogs most days in my house but we use Frankfurts from the deli or Woolies to make the hot dogs.

AND thanks Cherveyo for taking the starlapse. It was gorgeous!!!
Thank you Luna, for carrying Cheveyo and Tia safely through the Bungle Bungles. I love my Mazda too ❤
Was a blessing in disguise that you never made it in Blueberry as now you get a proper vehicle and go places that never would of been possible!
Top comment !!!
Absolutely
Yep, that’s what I was going to write, but you said it best
Was about to say the same and thanks Mazda for giving them the car to be able to do this properly 👏
Ok now Cheveyo has the Aussie spirit. Laid back (mostly/appearing).. but below the surface lies the ability to give someone a verbal serve/rant/shade when they deserve it (Repco) lol
14:49 what do the people want? “Us to wear shoes” 😂😂😂😂 its because we love you & don’t want to see you come to any harm ❤
😂
Too many snakes and spiders in the places you go that could kill you. Some nasty little bull ants that bloody hurt when they bite too! Bull ants aside, I too worry about you guys not wearing shoes. You’re a beautiful couple and so relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable to watch. I’ve seen parts of Australia I’ll never see thanks to you both. We all just want you to stay safe.
The least talked about sting is the bull ant sting … a bull ant crawled over my brother’s bare foot and stung his big toe and you can’t imagine the pain and swelling he endured. The MD warned him that people have died from an allergic reaction to them.
@@judileeming1589 I am allergic to jackjumpers - I’m not sure if you get them everywhere in Australia, but they’re little black ants that actually do jump - a jackjumper bite is as painful as bull ant bites- I was told that both are equally as dangerous- for me & many others, one bite is enough to cause anaphylaxis & if you don’t have an epipen on hand, there is a real possibility that if you do have anaphylaxis, you can die
@@Ninja_chihuahua Tassie is next on their journey so lets hope they get some runners and keep them on their feet.
These last couple of videos have been your best ever. Feels like you’re taking us on a journey to places no other youtuber has ever gone to. Great work. Thank you
Perfectly said - these last vids are spectacular ❤❤
Their videos aren't just entertaining, they take us to places a lot of australians haven't seen.
So true
Totally agree, we take this beautiful country for granted. Inspires us to get out more
Best thing for you guys and Mazda was this partnership with the BT50. Great advertising for Mazda and you're going places Blueberry wouldn't be able to. Also the drone footage has taken your channel to another level.
Cheveyo needs to say "she'll be right" before attempting any kind of challenge in Luna
@@drewkennewell4267 😂😂😂
This is one of the most beautiful videos I've ever seen. Artistic eye for texture and color, and well framed shots. Tia did an excellent drive through some relatively deep water! Cheveyo is correct in expecting a machine to do the ONE job as advertised.
Cheveyo really appreciating the clear skys and lack of light pollution 👍, the things we take for granted down here, that we are so lucky to have.
I worked at that Halls Creek garage as a mechanic in the early 90,s. It hasn't changed. Gave me a laugh . Great video.
That Mazda sponsorship was completely earned in this episode! The shots of it going through the water crossing looked like an ad. Love Blueberry but it's great you've been able to have Luna for this journey and do better off roading!
"Us to wear shoes" was hilarious, I noticed the amount of comments saying that too! But the star lapse is definitely wanted, beautiful!
I didn't know that I wanted a Star Lapse...but I'm glad you did one. Nice to see some Midnight Oil playing. Best video I've seen of the Bungle Bungles...I didn't know it was so far off the main road and that there are so many water crossings.
Just another great video.
"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it." No bridges, but the water crossings looked fun. Love the Midnight Oil and Cheveyo's two finger wave.
👍fantastic yet again❤🇦🇺
The hardest thing about watching you guys is when it ends and having to wait for your next episode 😢
19:49 Props to both of you. Tia for mastering the water crossing and Cheveyo for doing both the drone and interior recording at the same time! :D
Not only am I happy you guys are back and loving Australia but you're ability to capture and embrace the beauty of this country is second to none
Yep, I totally agree. Get with the program Tourism Australia and hire these guys!!
The language of snag: A "snag" is just a sausage, more specifically it's usually a beef sausage but it could be other meat. A "sanger" is a sandwich of any type. And a sandwich is something made with sliced bread. Now the basics of life are clear.
A "sausage sandwich" or "sausage sanger" or "snag sanger" can only be a sausage wrapped in a slice of bread or between slices of bread. You put it in a long bread roll here and it would normally be called a "hot dog" but if you wanted a more American style hot dog you'd buy saveloy sausages, which are like frankfurters but bigger.
7:50 I love the fact that you must have gone back and done this crossing at least twice to get the camera shots, and the drone shots are as always top notch! 👏👏👏
I hate to say it Chev but you're turning into an Aussie, right at the end you said "there's a servo down the road". Good man!
My favourite blooper wasn’t a blooper at all. The echo from the kiss! 💋 😂❤

Always a good policy to walk your water crossings before going through. Sometimes they can look shallow but could be rutted or deep
Interesting that you commented on the palm trees in the secluded gorge.
Some years ago a prehistoric tree was discovered in another secluded gorge about 200 miles west of Sydney. It was called the Wollemi Pine and was thought to be extinct. Following the discovery the location was kept publicly secret until enough seeds were collected to propagate them. Now the gorge has been named Wollemi Gorge.
You can actually buy the tree in retail outlets now for a few hundred dollars. ( a living fossil )
Great choice to not use music over the first few shots of the Bungle Bungles, and then a great choice of music for the scene later.
P.S. To see you two young Americans enjoying the Aussie outback and feeling the spirituality of the natural places gives me hope for the future.
Repco will replace it - but understand it is Chinese junk & they get hot pretty quick. The twin pistons models work better as pump more volume/air up faster. The night sky up there is majestic for sure due to air purity & no man made light interference. Great vlog!! Are you exploring the Ord River
Wow the drone shots, star lapse and the really cool shots you got of Luna going through that deep water. This video is next level!
I've lived in Australia all my life and never seen such beauty as you guys have shown I'm loving following your journey, the drone shots are fantastic, thanks guys
Luna did so good! Mazda definitely getting their money's worth with you guys. What a gorgeous video! I was so jealous I wasn't in the car for all those water crossings, it looked like so much fun.
Literally could not stop smiling with happiness the whole way through this episode. I love our Aus so much and it’s so very special to see how much you are loving it too ❤❤❤❤❤
I see Chev has the 2 finger wave going as other cars pass by, very Australian. And with his Aussie lingo and the beginnings of a fine mullet, all you need to do Tia is get that mullet going. You'd both make a fine pair of soft centred Aussie bogans😂
Putting jokes aside, I'm really enjoying watching your West Australian travels as I plan to do it in the future by motorcycle.
You were probably joking about the Aussie citizenship, but you both would fit in well here.
Oh, I love those drone shots that encapsulate the vastness of the outback.
"Lost in Space" would make a good title.
Once again thanks for a wonderful video. You’re taking us older folk places we will never see. You’re such a great couple. 😊
The Bungle Bungles are amazing and is unique to Australia. You videos lately are remote and you experienced places that not many people would . I absolutely loved it !!
Hey the star lapse!!! I asked for it in one of your prior episodes!!! Thank you for doing that, that's awesome! one of my favourite epi. gazing at the stars for me grounds me the insignificance of whatever all this is, and just how lucky we all really are!!!
You're wonderful people. Great episode, guys.
Great video as usual our intrepid adventurers 😊🏆, I know I sound like a broken record, but the more I see you in Luna , the Mazda BT50 , I want one . Dual cabs are such a versatile and practical vehicle.
The chasm looked very interesting in that by the look of it ( at least on my telly ) , the rocks in wall looked like they had been river smoothed , on the ground too, maybe that whole area was under water at some stage ?
On the cold temperature , I’m a bit of a cold fish too😊, I feel the cold , in my neck of the woods Melbourne north overnight it was 1 Celsius …. Omg I hate winter in Melbourne 😂.
The diversity of landscapes in Western Australia is truly incredible
Hahaha “what do the people want” me “for you to wear boots” Haha . You do such a great job! Such good info and beautiful photography of our Australia. Thank you 🙏🏻. I also loved that you remembered how you felt when you went Uluṟu. Thank you.
This is Australia ... most Australians will never come to such remote places as the Kimberleys region. Your video creations are top notch. They make me want to go back to the Kimberleys and revisit such iconic places. It is a great pity you did not get the chance to see the Horizontal Falls and remote coast line between Broome and Derby. Still your drone shots are freaking excellent! More star gazing please. Show us the awesome Milky Way
@@andrewbarnett5542 sad isn’t it. Australians know there is good stuff to see up there, but with the spiralling cost of living we’re all working non stop 50 or more weeks a year just to put a roof over the kids’ heads and food on the table. Only chance most will get to see the Kimberly and Pilbara etc is to get a FIFO mining job in the area, and thats kinda not a great way to see it.

Have to say this series is fantastic. Yeah, sausage is snag. Sanger is a sandwich. I love the way you said "Servo." Yr one of us now!
I personally say sausage and sandwich and i’m Australian. I should really use Aussie slang hey? At least I say hey and reckon a lot 😆
@ABC-jt7ep "hey" is more a NZ thing. I never say it. I do say " reckon" a whole lot.
I love the way you guys seem to take everything in your stride. Awesome ambassadors for the Australian Outback...............Safe travels
Rotisserie 😂😂😂😂😂 Love it. Thankyou for showing the Bungle Bungles. Lovely spot.
Ahhh, guys, this and the last couple of videos have made me a bit emotional 🥹 The northwest is my happy place and I can’t wait to get back. The colours, the sounds, the serenity, the night sky. Thank you 🙏🏼! You’ve caught the Outback 4WD bug. With beefed up suspension and All Terrain tyres (and a functioning compressor! 😂)there are so many more epic landscapes you can visit. The upside of the gnarly roads you came across is that these places are not overwhelmed with tourists and you can have places like Cathedral Gorge to yourselves. You are so right … many of the special locations across the entire Outback have a spiritual feel about them … and you do need to stop and reflect that Aboriginal people have been visiting these places for well over 40,000 years. Thank you again. 😘 to you both.
As someone who's yet to see these parts of Australia I'm very much envious but excited I get to in the future. I've had many friends with your experiences or grew up in these regions and they all the same about the spiritual elements. They have far more reverence for nature and the teaching of Aboriginal peoples. Can't wait to see it for myself!
Completely agree these episodes have been amazing!

Mazda owes you guys big time. Great vid.
Great vehicle - no chance to see these amazing spots in conventionals 👍👍
@@ricochay3510 It's amazing the places people used to go in regular vehicles. All these places have been visited numerous times in regular sedans and station wagons. As a kid in the late 70s our family went around Australia in a regular sedan towing a caravan, there was basically nowhere dad wouldn't point his 2wd sedan. Back then you hooked your caravan to your Kingswood, Falcon or Valiant and drove everywhere. Usually heavily overloaded, but no-one seemed to care, people made do with what they had.
Absolutely! I've had Mazdas my whole driving life (apart from my first car, which was a horrible mini that looked amazing, and my dad spent so long trying to make it great for me, but it was terrifying for a learner to drive and kept breaking down (it was a '72)). So he traded it in for a Mazda 323 (Zippy) and I'm on my 4th and just kept trading up Mazda models. I'd never have anything else. Currently on what was my 'dream car' for ages - a ruby-red CX-5 (Cherry), and I love her so much (I talk to her and praise her when she's done some hard yards 😅) ❤
Hey Trudi. My dad has owned five new Mazda's over many years, (the 1st was a 1979 626) and I've owned an RX3 and an RX7 and still own my gorgeous MX5. Funny enough I just bought my daughter a silver CX5 Akera because I wanted her in a reliable safe car. Zoom, Zoom! 🥰🥰
P.S. I think Mazda should donate the car to our fantastic travelers and sponsor them citizenship as product promoters. Cheers, and be well. 😊
@@chrisgregory4796 Hi Chris. Love the comment. Back in the mid-seventies five of us teenage idiots drove a 1966 Holden HR wagon around Aus, back when there was very little tarmac, just endless corrugations and red dust. We fitted the beast with twin gearboxes, the std three-on-the-tree coupled to a four-on-the-floor Aussie box with a shortened t/shaft which gave us 12 forward gears and 3 in reverse. This allowed 3 lower gears than 1st for climbing sand dunes. It was fitted with H/Duty springs, big off-road tires (three spares on the roof rack) and a bull bar. It looked like something out of Mad Max. Did the trip without a mechanical failure but blew six tires. Fun times indeed. Cheers. 😁
I’m so glad you made it to the Bungles and you enjoyed.
Nothing better than Midnight Oil Diesel and dust album in the outback. Glad you had beds are burning playing even though another sound track was playing at the time. Keep up the good work
So funny seeing the opposites: Cheveyo being excited about the water crossings & Tia looking quite nervous 😂😂 - Tia, blueberry got you through your last trip, Luna is newer & better (sorry blueberry) - have faith ❤️ (BTW - looked like a whole lot of fun to me!) 7:29
I am with Tia on this one! I get nervous with roads full of pot holes, let along crossing a river! :D My car is also a little 25 year old hatch though :P

Loving every bit of your Aussie tour. And your becoming Aussies with every day here lol. Your almost ready for "The castle" ( movie) where you will get the Aussie slang and Aussie vibe
"Like a temple" ❤. And those drone shots WOW!
Those air compressor s you only run them for about 5 minutes then let them cool down or you burn them out.try a 4wd accessories place for a good one.
Yes, most instructions say to only run them for X minutes.
Also foot pumps aren't as bad as people imagine and work perfectly fine.
Gorgeous shots of the Bungle Bungles and the southern skies ❤ Sanger = sandwich. Banger = sausage. Makes perfect sense 😛😅 Outback food prices are outrageous bc of transport costs and the fact that if there's only one shop of its type, they can charge what they like. And I'm telling you guys, ya need to apply for working holiday visas as a way to stay here longer. If Halls Creek wants you, other places will too 😊
This is your finest vid.❤ Everything, the drone shots, photography, even the sounds of the outback ... amazing & the soundtrack etc congrats!!
Thank you so much 😊😭
You two sure do it all proper like. Fun to watch. Remember if you come to a river or creek crossing always look at the other bank for wet tyre marks that indicate that others have successfully crossed.either that or look for car roofs sticking up out of the water.
Whoever's doing the panorama filming is doing a great job. Maybe you could get a job with one of the TV channels doing documentary programmes (Idea for your residence visa application).
$8 for a packet of chips??? That's crazy. And that compressor was purpose bought to perform one task in remote Australia and it failed, I totally understand Cheveyo's frustration.
Hard to believe the Bungle Bungle Ranges weren't discovered by Europeans until 1982 when a documentary of the outback brought them to all us city dwellers down south. The First Nations owners told me it was healing country (healing country, sickness country is a big part of the indigenous psychology of spirit). We spend the $450 each for the chopper rides and honestly one of the greatest things I had ever done.
Thanks for showing such an incredible landscape and unreal video shots.
Also to prevent an expensive collision - if a kangaroo jumps across in front of your vehicle as at 9:52 - immediately look for a second one that may be following.

As a city dweller I really appreciated the stars as I seldom see them. When I was a kid I lived in smaller towns and recalled the Milky Way but sadly now I have to go driving at night or just watch Cheveyo and Tia show me them. Luna is now well named in the lunar landscapes.
Absolutely stunning. Loving the integration of your drone footage, it really is next level. And as for the flies tip in the bloopers, you are welcome 😉😊😘
Thank you for that tip!
You did a great job on the water crossings through Purnululu National Park to the Bungle Bungles. You know the water is seriously deep when you have to exit your vehicle and wade through the water to determine just how deep it is and whether your vehicle is able to successfully complete the crossing. Due to inexperience, many people underestimate the depth of water crossings and their vehicle suffers the consequences. Good work Tia on the water crossings on the return trip. Slow and steady is the way to go. Cheveyo was a cool co-pilot.
The Bungle Bungles are well worth the long drive to visit. At sunrise and sunset when the sun is low they appear a much deeper orange/brown and you can really appreciate the variation in the colors. The aerial shot from the drone starting at 13:42 would have looked fantastic a little earlier when the sun was still above the horizon, but you would have missed the colors in the sky from the sunset.
Please let us know how you fair with Repco. They should replace the product free of charge or give you a full refund.
What a spectacular vid! Those drone shots are something else, honestly - you both have such an eye & those shots show a side of AUS we rarely see, esp the aerial shot of the Bungle Bungles. Amazing 👏🏽
The banter between you two is getting so entertaining (and hilarious) . But apart from that, what a gorgeous place you just discovered. Beautifully filmed!

The Aussie 'government' should give you automatic citizenship for showcasing this beautiful land to the world.
In fact we ought to be able to travel and settle down wherever we are inspired to be at any given time.
Ideally speaking, we have no country, our 'country' is the whole world and the expanse as far as we can imagine.
Problem is that we don't have an Aussie government, instead we got Albo.
You guys are doing an amazing ad for Mazda. I’m definitely considering this as our next Ute! Nice one!
Bungles is a place most aussies wont ever get to. Cathedral Gorge is spiritual, all the khoori tribes from within 400km would make the trek there to meet and discuss business. It was a neutral meeting place of the utmost importance. There are few more important places. The Bungles aren't tall maybe three storeys, like most of Australia its flat and not steep anywhere other than the great dividing range on the east coast. Bungles are a magic spot. The local tribes might restrict access eventually so cross it off soon - last time i was there three local tribes were having a cranky meeting with national parks in the carpark about it all.
Amazing cinematography on this episode. The starlapse definitely delivered.
I wouldn't have picked Cheveyo as an amateur geologist, but I'm here for it.
Also, Luna: 10/10. Air-compressor: 0/10. Do it, Cheveyo. Give Repco a serve!
You will have to see if you can spot the southern cross in the night sky. if you don't know what it looks like, look at the stars on the Australian flag. once you can do that I will tell you how to find dew south from it. Great episode! P.S there are two bright stars that point to it.
Nice to see Midnight Oil playing on the radio there. ^^
Also, a mechanic (of many various sorts, like motor, diesel, air conditioning) is on the skilled jobs list. Get that lady to sponsor you. If you're willing to work in the outback, you'd probably get a job in no time.
And, Ahahahahaha, that subscribe was hilarious.
Really liked this video. It brought back memories of the Bungle Bungles when we went there years ago. Crossing streams and rough roads is quite satisfying when safely done and you can feel very pleased with what you achieved. I know I was surprised about what we did. The Repco compressor was a sad thing to happen. We used a Black Max for our travels and we still have it and it never let us down. But in those days, they were made in Australia, I think. I also think that everyone who watches your videos would support any application for citizenship!! In fact, I would go so far as to say that we would consider you both honorary Aussies.
Intense water crossings - expertly captured and Luna is a legend!
Loving your artistic choices with the drone footage, cutaways and star lapse!
Here’s hoping Repco makes good with your compressor - a reputable company that’s been around for a long while so I’m sure they will!
Safe travels!

I loved this week's video. Australia has some unique spots to go to all over Australia. It is very nice use share it with your viewers around the world. I'm sure we all thank you for taking the time to do this. I have just bought myself a 42ft sailing boat. It is currently in Darwin. I will be in Darwin very soon to sail it back home .
