The Innuendo album was a masterpiece and arguably this was Queens finest work.

It was a total compromise!....
Designed around freddie Mercury's illness in order to allow him to show his best at a time when that was no longer the gold standard in music due to the ravages on his body!
He was the greatest showman of any era in his prime....and no one will convince me otherwise!
But this wasn't his era......it was the end of it....and what a fantastic job he did in the circumstances!!!
Anyone who calls this stuff queens greatest however are nostalgic liars ......that belonged to the late 70s and early 80s....
A time when Queen ruled the airwaves with inventive sound and Mercury's god like vocals and charisma!!

@@plug6038 and I couldn't agree more with you Andy haha If people love the album Innuendo then that's great. but I've seen it called a masterpiece and Queen's best album and that's just absurd. Even though Innuendo is one of the best songs they ever did there are quite a few rubbish ones on the album. the 70s was their best period and that was mainly down to Freddie's songs of that time
@@plug6038 Could you come across anymore as an opinionated arse? If people want to say it’s Queen’s best work in their view, good for them. It’s an opinion, which everyone is entitled to make. Innuendo is one of my favourite Queen albums. Does that make me a nostalgic liar? No, just me expressing my view.

It's always fun to watch the band behind the scenes. Knowing Freddie was getting more ill every day at that time is so heart breaking. Forever Queen and never forgotten Freddie ❤ RIP
How different Queen sounded in 1990-1991 compared to the A Kind Of Magic or even The Works...
Not just because Mercury's voice obviously different but....

I mean, their sound, uniqueness and style just got better and better (my own opinion).
I reckon they might have embraced a bit more of the 60s style as that became fashionable in the 90s with the whole britpop thing
Headlong was shot sometime in November of 1990.....and Freddie passed about one year later. I cannot even begin to imagine what sort of mental and physical pain he no doubt was in. Poor man suffered but never complained. To see him keep pushing and making quality music with the boys,even though the virus was killing him. Freddie's great strength and courage inspires me. What a pro....what a True Legend. Happy Birthday Fred! 🎼👑🎤🌟
Actually, the video for Headlong was shot exactly one year before Freddie passed away, on 24th November 1990....
Incredible coincidence.
And queen in Montreal was shot 10 years to the day before he died

Some of you in the comments are so focus on Freddie's look. I'm sure he was very aware of how he looked but put that aside to perform and give of himself for his fans. I love and appreciate him for being so brave. I could never judge Freddie no matter what. Whether it's Freddie in the 70's or 90's I love him with all my heart. RIP Freddie 🌹🌹🌹🌹

You can see a change in Freddie in this video. He seems a lot quieter and more subdued compared to his usual younger self. His voice has thinned and appearance is notably different.
Although he still has a great sense of humour!
Well, after '89, his health declined quickly and drastically. But, I don't know, despite being clearly thinner, his voice on the album has such a unique power, the notes he reaches, especially in songs like 'Innuendo' and "The Show Must Go On", are just impressive. Plus, the songs themselves are all beautiful (with the exception, perhaps, of 'Delilah'). OK, I'll admit it: Innuendo, for me, is the best album they've ever released.

You know I love Innuendo. It's my favourite puppy of all the Queen songs. Then it would be Las Padedras Me Amour, Liar then Liar.
Estoy seguro que en ese documental hay alguna entrevista a Freddie Mercury en Metrópolis Studios entre 1990 y 1991 ojala Queen Productions revele todo el material que tiene guardado en HD 4k seria hermoso un Box Set de Innuendo Aniversary
