    Awesome test! Thanks for sharing. I’ve driven both of these, and the Suzuki in the snow. They are both incredible AWD systems, but I’d choose the Suzuki simply because I found it had so much character and had a nicer cabin than the Subaru. 👍

    Have owned a Vitara Turbo Allgrip for 18 months now.....the only complaint is the difficulty getting all terrain tyres here in Aotearoa. Other than that an unbelievably capable light off road vehicle with good around town manners for a sensible price.

  • @Trades46
    @Trades46 Před 4 lety +7

    Both good systems, but more impressive since while the Suzuki needed you to select the right mode to get out immediately (in lock or snow), the Subaru automatically senses its slip and gets to work.

    • @4x4.tests.on.rollers
      @4x4.tests.on.rollers  Před 4 lety +5

      Sometimes that's the point - slippage is necessary in some conditions. Subaru allows for that in versions with x-mode or dual x-mode.

Mine is a 1.6 petrol and is made in Poland 😁 and is being used in a far away land, Pakistan.

    • @4x4.tests.on.rollers
      @4x4.tests.on.rollers  Před 3 lety +2

      Witam, dzięki za subskrybowanie. Co do automatu - klasyczny hydrokinetyk Aisin. Prosta, niezawodna skrzynia ze starej szkoły, bardzo sprawna jak na ten rodzaj automatu. Serwis ogranicza się do sprawdzania poziomu oleju przy przeglądach, producent nie przewiduje wymiany. Miłym dodatkiem jest tryb manualny oraz łopatki przy kierownicy, działające zawsze. Moje doświadczenie z tą skrzynią to niecałe 5 lat użytkowania, ponad 80 tysięcy kilometrów. Żadnych uwag. Fajnie działa w zestawieniu z All Grip Select. Nie miałem okazji jeździć w konfiguracji z 1.4 129 KM, ale nie sądzę, by było inaczej niż w wersji z 140 KM.

      LOCK mode in Suzuki doesn't work like mechanical locker. It keeps high torque on rear wheels but in active way.
