We can all agree that Kishimoto creating Kaguya was a big mistake.
It could have done better if kaguya could have been made more relevant if kishimoto provided foreshadowing kaguya as mother of chakra and her influence in the world and about sage of the six paths once had to seal kaguya to stop her rampage.
Also like some characters mentioning about mother of chakra could also have been done so her character doesent become much of an asspull

It's true kishimoto didn't create or design the characters. Kodachi is not in charge of boruto. If kishimoto designed them and wrote the anime story, everything could've been better. But he left everything up to kodachi but his name still will be included because he did make the anime boruto.

Boruto originated from Shueisha's proposal to Kishimoto on making a sequel to Naruto. However, Kishimoto rejected this offer and proposed his former assistant Mikio Ikemoto to draw it; the writer of the film Boruto: Naruto the Movie, Ukyō Kodachi, created the plot. Both Kodachi and Ikemoto are in charge of the manga.
Ikemoto designed the characters and also the anime style. He sucks though.
And the plot and storyline is created by Kodachi. They both suck because the storyline is bad as well as the designs. Because, who could ever make the main character a villain?(I am talking about kodachi who made the plan to make boruto a villain in the future.)
