    I have one in my 1994 Mustang GT. Recently carb swapped the 5.0 and this was a must have! My buddy had one on his b20 turbo integra, and now has one on his 500hp capable b18 GSR integra. Great product.

    I've been extremely satisfied with this exact product. Serial connection to log with hp tuners, and has made tuning a breeze.

    It’s not made in California, it’s made in Taiwan/China.
    Mine came with Chinese labels stuck all over the back.
    AEM just has a moderately sized distribution centre in Hawthorne, there’s no manufacturing there.

    While this is an excellent overview of the features of the gauge.. the only thing I care about with a/f gauges is accuracy. Hook it up to a car and run an emissions test with an exhaust gas analyzer side by side. Some of these simple kits are waaaay off.

    how can I tap this is into my standalone ecu so my ecu knows what the afr is rather than having the data just on the gauge itself. I have a plug-in-play ecu. do i splice into the factory o2 sensor wires??

    I hate it. I'm putting my original 1st gen aem wideband back in tomorrow. Anyone in Daytona Beach wanna make me a cash offer on this. Has less then 100 miles on it. Comes with everything seen in this video.
    Great video tho

    Gauge responds slow compared to my old Innovate.

      There’s 2 independent videos on YT showing that this AEM samples 50x second, and Innovate around 12x per second.

    how does this work on dual exhaust? or does it?

    • @NoStringsAttached777
      @NoStringsAttached777 Před 7 lety

      Instructions say " Sensor Placement : 18 inches (45cm) downstream of the cylinder head's exhaust port or turbochargers" My best guess is that on the average V8 install the exhaust's X or H pipe will be well out of the distance where the sensor will work properly so it is a big concern.I was about to order one but I want to get some feedback from AEM FIRST

    • @AEMpowerTVelectronics
      @AEMpowerTVelectronics Před 7 lety +1

      Hello and thanks for your interest in our products! You can place the
      sensor further than 18 inches but it should not exceed 36 inches.

    • @Greg-Ski
      @Greg-Ski Před 5 lety

      you need two gauges one for each side of the engine and two O2 sensors, Innovate MotorSports these guys competitor sells one called the DLG-1 I own it and it's a single gauge with two read outs on one gauge, uses two separate O2 sensors, you hook up one O2 sensor directly to that gauge the second O2 sensors you hook up to a black box called the controller and then daisy chain that controller to that gauge
