Mainly the build and feel of it I mentioned first, interacting with these boxes is just not a great experience. Compared to something like a recent Elektron machine where that’s everything it doesn’t even get close, it feels finnicky and cheap. So that’s 0.5, the last 1.0 is reserved for extraordinary advancements in music recording history.

But the example was just to show the contrast between a great physical experience and not 😊 It’s not terrible by any means, but worth a 0.5 deduction for me personally. You’re very right - at this price point you shouldn’t expect more. So anything above 3 is pretty nice in my book!
