Let's start with doorless homes and start with your home - let us know how that goes.

at 1:00 the guy talking about mono- and multilingualism when speaking of the languages present in Tucson, Arizona, he does not even mention native languages!? it is irritating. Is this the kind of people that say to prefer to read texts in english and not translations when talking about books from non english writers?

It is hard to me to understand what she says and who she speaks for. The only thing I seem to be sure of is that she is an Indian who wants to live in the West and work as a leading academic.

Spivak is one of the best Marxist philosophers of the 21st century.

@@Advneethupadoor there's no difference, and if she convinced you otherwise then she got you good. I'll be brutally honest here, Spivak is a con-artist that is the living embodiment of "fake it 'til you make it". She has made circular arguments into an artform and it's simply impossible to speak with her for prolonged periods since it's very tiresome to listen or participate in a conversation without substance. There is ample reason for her being divorced and childless, just sayin'....

A borderless worlds can never exist in a multicultural world because not all ideologies can coexist together. You want a monoculture where everyone or almost everyone thinks and acts the same with the same values.
