@@CHUY-DRZ400s Really? I'm shocked, when mine came in, it was blazing fast, which was surprising considering the distance it came and the size of the package. Why are they not letting the tent into the country? What's the hangup?
@@4wdTALK both delivered.
Thank you .
Delivered.
I should be able to unbox in the next couple weekends.
Best way to spend time.
Absolutely! More fun when my son is with me, but always fun getting out!
Thank you for video
You are very welcome, thank you for stopping by!
WOW, that was a good video, I'd like to be out in the wild right now working vs being stuck in this office I'm currently in!
Funny, I hear that often with folks. Friend I'm in the same boat, I would rather be up in side this tent this very moment!
You know what? I like your videos, but this one I found more relaxing to watch. Just wish I could be outdoors camping right now!
Thank you for the kind words. Friend we all wish to be outdoors right now!
Bravo, entertaining. Why doesn't that tent have a hole for the heater you are using vs running that hose through the door?
It's not an option
Strange weather all over this year. Some are just barely getting their snow, others just cold. I feel bad for the ski resorts, they need the snow to keep people coming back. Thank you 4wdtalk, we'll see you in your next video!
Just saw on weather forecast that we might get some snow this weekend. Crossing fingers!
I'm sold on the tent, but yellow must be a nightmare to keep clean. I was just on the Sonmez website, I think the orange or green is more me and will likely be easier to hide dirt. BTW how durable is the floor in that tent?
Yellow does pick up dirt fast, however stay tuned for an upcoming video on how to clean (hint hint). Regarding the floors? It's waterproof and thick/durable!
All resolved.
Not a sonmez outdoor issue.
Ball was dropped by customs/ updates to shipper.
The QUALITY of my purchases.
100% top notch.
I would consider these tents commercial grade.
For many reasons.
Where did you find the stove pipe elbows? I've been looking for a 45 to move the spark arrestor like you did, but I can't find it in the rare 3.15" diameter. Very cool dual fuel setup. I appreciate your candid appraisal of taking down that seemingly ideal setup in less than ideal conditions. Here in the coastal northeast the chances of a wet teardown are high enough to factor in on using that kind of tent. Super cool setup for a basecamp, if it's designed for prolonged exposure. You made it look too easy!
ha ha ha, friend you aren't kidding! It was tough to find, but found it on Amazon: amzn.to/3tWTcew (affiliate link). Thank you for the kind words. As I was putting the video together, I realized that I wish I took a photo of just how the back of the truck looked when I threw that horribly folded tent in there. Friend, it barely fit! Now regarding the tent for long camps, 1000% this tent could handle it, extremely durable.
I bought the RBM Panda Blow Up tent. Was hoping he would do a video staying in that one. I stayed in it in the teens in Montana, very warm!!!!!!!!. Lets see Panda tent please!! Thanks I also bought Planar diesel heater.
Stay tuned for upcoming video on the Panda! Montana is some of the most beautiful country I've been too. Stay tuned friend!
Feel like wind will blow that tent to mars.
Both of my orders on way!!!!!!
What did you order?
Air Bushcraft. Also
5p London 360 Discover.
Winnerwell woodlander double view .

What sort of maintenance have you had to do on that heater over the last 3 years? Did you need to replace the glo plug on it? Fuel pump?
Absolutely nothing. This heater seriously has been the best. If you watch some of my older videos you'll see I don't even maintain this heater as it's suggested. Which IMO is testament to how well these things are made.
@#$#% that is one sick a$$ tent set up!
Thank you, it's one of my favorite tents I have ever tested.
I saw someone else comment on the color of this tent. I have a question of my own regarding color. Will the color on these sort of tents fade? I see the company that makes these has tan and earthy tones, wouldn't that be better?
Great question, everything will fade if left out in the sun long enough. I'm not sure on this tent in terms of how long that will be, I will say the tent is extremely well made, with heavy duty materials. That might be a good question to ask Sonmez team.
How much fuel did that Planar heater burn heating that tent overnight?
On the low setting I had it on, not much, I have ~60% of a tank right now and I know it wasn't completely full that evening.
Do you like this tent better than the RBM Pandas tents?
Hey bud, they are completely two different segments of the market. In terms of best of the best... Sonmez Outdoors has the best inflatable tents that I have tested. That said, the RBM Panda tents for the money are excellent budget friendly inflatable tents. Their large Panda is a home run.
I appreciate your reply. I assume its material thickness & stitch/seam quality that sets them above RBM? I’m currently leaning towards the RBM Panda Large or Koala7, for spacious 4 person family tent. Will use 2-3 times a year. The price substantially more than I’ve ever paid for a “tent”, but I hope a quality-buy will be more of an investment, than an expense. I don’t know if I’d get my moneys worth, if paying 4x more for a Somez. Hard to find info on such high quality tents in the US, so thank you 👍🏼
@@_HashForce Yes, the material that Sonmez uses is ridiculous (in a very good way) and designed for much higher demanding environmental conditions. Again these both are great companies for their respective price points. Put things in perspective... if both tents were exact same size... I'd bet the Sonmez tent was easy 3X weight of the RBM. When I say the materials this company uses are heavy duty... you feel it in the weight..
Hi, which tent would you prefer, this one vs RBM panda ?
Well that depends on your budget. If you simply want the best and you don't have a budget... Sonmez all the way. These tents are IMPRESSIVE. That said, if you are on a tighter budget, RBM Panda tents are a good option that will cost you a fraction of the Sonmez tents. IF in the chance you are after a tent with best thermal properties, RBM Hexagon (not inflatable tent) all the way.
