The glass accents were genius, absolute genius, everything was highlighted beautifully. The ‘for rent’ sign was the only thing I thought didn’t fit, it took away from the barn, as it was too big, underneath on the table would have been better, as it was cute. I hope the rooster you ordered is to size too!
Thank you for sharing, it is nice to see someone decorate differently one of these homes, as you may know, homes in England are so much smaller, so eclectic can often look overcrowded but I do try 🙂
Yvonne these videos are so much fun to watch and it's so interesting to hear your thought process as you decorate! l live in a tiny studio apartment and also changed where the TV hangs 🤣 Maybe someday in the future you and Chris will have a business going into people's homes and helping them to redecorate with just what they already have...I'd watch that TV show!

This was such fun :-) I totally understand having to move things around until it is all perfect :-) I looked around my living room and only one item was purchased new: my area rug. My goal for years has been to show that a house or apartment can be furnished second-hand :-) I have succeeded !!!

I absolutely love how you're decorating your beautiful home. The only thing I would suggest is, if Chris watches TV very often I would put the remotes in a fake book box or a little wooden box to put closer to your sofa (on the self behind the sofa or coffee table).

Everything looks so good! Another idea would be to move the perfectly imperfect sign onto the black architectural shelf in the center of the panel, then add that creamy architectural wall decor, where the sign was. What a process though to have moved not only your house, barn and business but then having to unpack and setup!!
Oh Yvonne…. You had me laughing through this video ! I remember NOT wanting to put holes in my “new shiplap” walls…LOL!!!! After making a couple …game on 💪. But I can fill holes in the wood and paint ( someday 😂…still not painted) but the texture, YES an issue.
I remember when you got that amazing cast iron Barn and animals ! And YES…curtains are insane to get. I have 4 big windows in my kitchen ( floor to ceiling ) and every time I see what I like…ugh !!!!! PER PANEL… WOW! I could sew my own and have for years…but my kitties think everything is THEIRS to lay on it 😸😸😸😸 and I like the sheer fabrics, so even clipped nails pull !
Peaches is finally settled in. 😻 What we do to accommodate our furbabies ! Remember “WE RENT FROM THEM” the house is actually theirs! Or so they think!!! LOL!

I find something I like or love and I put it out but then I have to much and it's all clutter and nothing looks good. So I'm going to be rethinking somethings thanks to you.... I remember when you found and repainted your farm! It has always been one of my favorite pieces that you have done. I love the way it is incorporated into the decor of your new home. The Bible’s you have throughout your home touches my heart. I am blessed to have Bibles from several family members. I love going through and looking at all of the verses they underline and the notes in the margins. Thank you for taking me along as you decorate your new home!

If you need curtains maybe think about drop cloths ,I'm sure you know that though,I have 5 floor to ceiling windows in my living area and have drop cloths I ordered on Amazon bc the ones I found doesn't have those ugly seams lol,anyway I just know what ever you have or choose in the future will be amazing bc your style is absolutely beautiful

I love it, maybe paint the top of the perfectly imperfect sign black since you really can’t see the scallop part…and it would go with the black piece below….but then again maybe it’s just the way it shows on film and you can see it better in person…..love your videos? 👍😀❤️
Your curtains give a bedroom mood. Could you bleach them, dye them with a light beige, or green or grey or blue ? Tinting them would make the floral print fade into the background. You can buy dye to use in a washing machine. Choose a dye for cotton or synthetic fabric, depending on what the fabric is. Or else, put them in your other rooms. The ideal would be a solid, off white or very pale grey velvet or a thick cotton. Hope you don't mind making suggestions on your home decoration.
Another idea, include some art in your kitchen and bathrooms. Armelle

I’m still more into a TV cabinet!! Just because of cats and dog!! Have gone thru 3 adapters and 2 cable connections the past 3 months. Husband got 2 shelves and did it-everything is exposed. I hate it!! Don’t even know what all the gadgets are now!! I want everything tucked away like Y’all did!! Looking of marketplace for something!! I do Love your decor style-especially the barn with the animals & wood features!!❤️

Yay Chris on the changes. We have to be like Gumby when it comes to decorating! Bendable, foldable, flexible. Lol. Toothpaste is a great fix for small nail holes on textured walls. What a find on the little ram! Love all of it. Even the curtains would not have been my choice but you pulled it together. I love your house and all you've been doing and I know you're not finished but I notice one thing mising. Don't know if you had it in your other house but.........greenery and plants would be a lovely addition. 😘

I love the way you arranged all the yummies in the living room. Chris did a GREAT job on the dining table. I love the cast iron farm. I think the long window at the end of the other room needs a wreath of some sort that can be changed with the seasons or holidays. You are a great interior decorator, Yvonne.
