Awesome archaeological findings. I hope Philippines discover their roots, their ancient pride and ancient links with other Hindu Buddhist civilizations in the region. I believe ancient Philippines somehow have links and relationship with ancient Indonesians in Java (Medang Kingdom) and Sumatra (Srivijaya kingdom). Cheers from Indonesia.

gunjakarta it was recorded in the Spanish diary that before they were baptised as Christians, they asked them what their Gods were or if they were pagans, the Filipino King said we only worship one God then he clamped his hands and looked at the sky and said, our God Abba.

Cossack TwoFive @ Watch Solomon‘s Gold....., we were chosen by God in Ancient time...., before the Spaniards came & colonized us to be a Catholics, adolizing & Praying w/ Idol‘s ....! That‘s why God punished us until now bec. people are kneeling, praying for Idol’s w/c God, ABBA or Yahusha, meaning Jesus ...., My Father told us in 10 Commandments, Thou shall not make unto thee any graven images or likeness of any thing that is in heaven above or that is beneath or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shall not bow down thyselve to them, nor serve, for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God. There‘s a punishment of doing these, the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third & fourth generations of them that hate me, it means by adoring Idol‘s, we are been punished thru generations to generations. That‘s why Filipino people are sufferings up to now for poverty, & many corruptions, invading our territories etc. ! I am now just praying only to ABBA, Yahusha , Jesus Christ not w/ Idol’s like Statue of Bl. Mary or other Saints bec. they are also humans like us & not been said in the Bible that we have to pray for them, no...it’s not written in Bible. Thank you Lord for the enlightenment that Solomon’s Gold had narrated us. Praise God.

We will never be Filipinos without their influence, it is because they inputed a certain identity that is theirs and which in turn converted as ours. regreting their influence is like regreting your identity as a Filipino. And speaking of being exotic,we actually are, since the culture of the east meets the west.

Great stuff! Thanks gintongrajah! Really opens people's eyes at the richness and sophisticated cultures that graced most of the ancient Philippines. I find it absolutely heinous (and sinister) for people to claim that the pre-hispanic Philippine people were nothing more than "primitive tribesmen", the proof is there that they were highly civilized!
I wonder whether or not the standard syllabus of Philippine history put in by stubborn Spain-centric lecturers will change to reflect the truth...

Lord ,thank you for this information that tells Philippines is a Rich country of gold, that gold can be pick up in rivers and use as money by our ancestors before Spanish Colony...and thier "artwork" also tell the influence by other country. In that manner it shows , how friendly we are.
Forgive the sins of our forefather if they also adapt the "idol "worship, and kind belief that you dont like.Probably , one reason why we turn out , to bcome POOR COUNTRY.
God is spirit, so it must be worship , by SPIRIT AND TRUTH.Forgive us Lord , and HEAL OUR LAND, AND MAKE US , DELIGHTSOME LAND.Lead and call your people in Rightway of worship that pleases you. Teach us to understand what is written in the bible .
Or maybe, Philippines is like "Job", a perfect man , who FEAR GOD and hate evil, but SATAN was so jealous of him, and cause affliction and suffering, but JOB , passed the TEST and TRIAL , whose faith in God was unmovable. His Humble belief that , Job 1:21 Naked came i out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither.", So God blessed Job , and give back twice what was Lost....Help us understand also that you chastice your children , so we are.
Your kingdom came and your will be done.
Make us understand your plan for our , contry and turn and clease every filipino heart towards you. Your our shelter and shield.
Blessed our country Philippines evermore, in Jesus name.
Your NAME be magnified and glorified. forever and ever , amen.

Language itself show Arabic influence and India origins which has no
relevance because it is believed the Language evolved over 6-8 thousand
years so naturally the Philippines being a trading center. Many other
languages were used and introduced by trade For example the term Romance
language means most European languages which descended from Celtic and
obvious Roman roots aka Latin. One has to assume a tremendous trading
center, industrious hard working people, many bays and natural ports. So
a mingling of languages from other cultures like the Mixed heritage of
Filipinos. Language background is complex and still evolving.
historically Cebuano, or its ancestor language, has been spoken since
the Proto-Austronesian era (c. 6000 years ago) in the Sugbu (Cebu)
heartland.Cebuano was first documented by Antonio Pigafetta, an Italian
explorer who was part of Ferdinand Magellan's 1521 expedition. Spanish
missionaries started to write in the language during the early 18th
century, and as a result, Cebuano contains many words of Spanish
origin.Cebuano is a member of the Borneo-Philippine languages. Early
trade contact resulted in a large number of older loan words from other
languages in Cebuano, like Sanskrit (e.g. sangka, "fight" and bahandi,
"wealth", from Sanskrit sanka and bhānda respectively), and Arabic (e.g.
salámat, "thanks"; hukom or hukm, "judge") or Judgement.
It has also been influenced by thousands of words from Spanish, such as kurus [cruz] (cross), swerte [suerte] ("luck"), gwapa [guapa], ("beautiful"), merkado [mercado] ("market") and brilyante [brillante] ("brilliant"). It has several hundred loan words from English as well, which are altered to conform to the limited phonemic inventory of Cebuano: brislit (bracelet), hayskul (high school), syápin (shopping) and dráyber (driver )
Various other comparisons can be made but the key to all of this is the Filipino had their own language and it evolved, Like English in America is different than Australia or England.

Actually My wife's people traded with China as far back as 3500 BC, the
original Austrasian people spread across Asia rather quickly. The Basai
as I call them were the first very organized society far before the
Spanish and Muslim invaders of Mindanao. Largely unknown and unstudied
in the Philippines are WWII war crimes documents in the US which clearly
state Japanese commanders at various levels decided against engaging
the Muslims often because of their fanaticism. The Basai were avoided as
they retreated into the mountains for an obvious flaw in the Japanese
mentality. One Women defending her house could kill 2-4 Japanese
soldiers defending her home. Shame of this to the average Japanese
soldier was sufficient to make them avoid large parts of South Cobato .
Our culture goes back almost before recorded time for I am half Filipino
as well and my mother was from Mindanao, though she died when I was a
child I have had a lifetime to review this ancient island and it's
remarkable people who's language is perpetuated not only in the
Philippines but other nearby Island nations suggesting that part of the
Philippines dominated the entire area for eons as the dominate culture
competing and trading with the other dominant culture of the time China
who not possess the strength of the average Filipino, both multilingual
and intellectually gifted the Philippines is more then an emerging
nation, but truly the foundation of half of Asia, Pardon my spelling
    long day

@MaharlokanSovereign MAHARLIKA is a sanskrit word i'm not sure of the meaning because according to sirach there is no such thing as "lika" in sanskrit. Filipino is a good, perfect and beautiful language i do not consider it as austronesian NOR malay language.

Why don't Macoy's family return this gold to Filipinos especially the Aetas & other Natives ?

    • @iamnoone348
      @iamnoone348 Před 8 lety +2

+Vzb Tjl The Aetas didn't made this gold artifacts because they were hunter gatherers on the other hand it was the Austronesians or Malays-"not to be confused with Malaysians" who made this artifacts they were also the dominant people at the time of the Spanish arrival they also made cities, settlements and they also had a written language...As for what you're saying the ancient gold isn't with the Marcos family rather you can see them on display at the Ayala Museum or the Metropolitan Museum of art in Manila...There is no point in blaming everything on the Marcos family.

I'm starting to think that El Dorado, the city of gold, is none other than the Philippines. Gold was literally everywhere before the Spanish came and fucked our future up.
Think about it. Out of all the countries in Asia, why would Spain and US fight over us, specifically?
Philippines or Filipinos is a slave name. I believe we are Lemurians. The lost continent predating Atlantis.
