The more technology improves in phone cameras, the easier it gets to start a CZcams channel with just your iphone or other kind of smartphone. In this video I review the Uhuru Smartphone Camera Video Microphone Kit. Let me know what you think! I totally agree the sound on the iPhone captures so much more where as this mini boom mic is direct which is perfect for CZcams videos! Thank you for doing this review it was really helpful whilst setting up!

So I got this set up and I plug in the mic with the iPhone adaptor and I try and record but theirs no sound in the video how do I fix this
Hi, just to double check, are you using the TRRS 3.5mm cable? it should have the 3 rings on the tip. If you are using the TRS cable or adapter (which will have only 2 rings on the tip) it won't work

I think the Microphone with the led light and the tripod kit is more better then the microphone on your phone from Logan French
Ok I need help I hooked up everything but when I record for my videos, after I’m done talking I can’t hear my voice from the mic unless I unplug it from my phone is that suppose to happen

Got one …using an iPhone , bought a adapter for the cable , but the no sound with the mic …any settings on the phone that I need to change .?
You shouldn't have to change any settings. Are you using the adapter that it comes with by any chance? If you are using the adapter, remove it and just use the TRRS cable. if you are using the TRS adapter (it has the 2 rings on the tip) it will not work with the iphone. That adapter is meant more for cameras. You must use just the TRRS cable (Which has the 3 rings on the tip)
@@TobiasHolenstein the kit comes with a trrs cable which doesn’t work with a iPhone so I bought a dongle adapter ( lightning adapter) to plug into iPhone XR. No sound from video recording. ?
@@seanlategan Hm that's strange, I also have the iPhone XR and it worked for me. This might be a silly question, but when trying to listen to the audio did you unplug the microphone? You need to unplug the mic to hear the audio

I have a similar product but when I record the audio, it just comes back with static.

Mine did this as I was setting up and watching this video! I was sat by my work computers and phones so try turning your phone that you’re recording on Airplane mode as now fingers crossed it’s okay for me 🙏🏽🙏🏽 hope it works!

You plug it into the headphone jack on your phone. If you have an iPhone you will need a lightning adapter
