It's not hard cause you can't do double presses and the only double press you can do is in the middle and notes really don't fly at you the way guitar hero does. But I get why it's like this because it's likely epic trying to make it easier because for most people this is everyone's first rhythm game
Late response so you may not see this but I'm a Rythem game fanatic and love them. The notes you are talking about are called "Lift Notes" you play the note and let go when you reach the triangle, you could also hit the note twice(once on the note and once on the triangle) both are work but it's better to play them the way they were intended and letting go.
